Yamuna Betschart, Senior Marketing Manager Asia Pacific of the Lufthansa Group in Singapore until the end of 2021, is the new Market Manager Switzerland at ST as of June 1. The holder of an MAS in Communication Management from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts is returning to Switzerland after numerous positions with global brands and players in Singapore and will assume responsibility for the "Market Switzerland" department at ST.

In 2019, almost 18 million overnight hotel stays were recorded in the Swiss market, giving domestic overnight stays a market share of over 45%. The pandemic year 2021 even saw an all-time record of almost 21 million hotel nights. Yamuna Betschart, an experienced communicator with extensive marketing expertise and management experience at an international level, is now responsible for the marketing measures of ST and its partners. Her task will be to maintain and strengthen the renewed love of the Swiss for their homeland as a vacation destination beyond the pandemic. "I am looking forward to a new face at ST with a great international marketing track record.
