Swiss Tennis merges its communications and marketing departments

The organizational merger is intended to make better use of the synergies between communication and marketing, according to a press release. The main focus of the Marketing division will be the continuation of digitalization projects, the introduction of marketing automation and the expansion of digital marketing activities.

Sandra Pérez, 50, who has been a member of the Swiss Tennis Executive Board since 2022, will be responsible for the technical and personnel management of the department. Roman Kohler will become Deputy Head of Marketing, while Florian Künzi will remain Deputy Head of Communications.

The sponsorship division, with Giuseppe Napoletano in charge, will now report to Managing Director Stefan Flückiger as a staff unit. External support has been brought in for marketing: the agency H+H Management from Lucerne, which will act as Swiss Tennis' exclusive acquisition agency, and David Jäger from StrategyOne, who will act as a consultant in the areas of sponsorship and marketing. Both will also sit on the newly established Advisory Board, which will advise Swiss Tennis on marketing matters.
