Green is taken over by new investor
The IFM Global Infrastructure Fund acquires Green. The aim is to drive forward the expansion of the leading Swiss data center operator.
IFM Global Infrastructure Fund, advised by IFM Investors, has acquired Green Group AG and its subsidiaries („Green“) from the previous investor InfraVia European Fund III, managed by InfraVia Capital Partners. The transaction was completed on October 30, 2025.
Headquartered in Switzerland, Green plans, develops and operates state-of-the-art data centers for hyperscalers and enterprise customers. The company is a leader in the Swiss market for data center services and benefits from long-term contracts with global cloud providers and enterprise customers. For three decades, the company has also been an established provider of internet and web hosting services for private customers and SMEs.
As part of its growth strategy in the data center sector, Green has already announced plans to expand into other European markets. The company has founded a subsidiary in Frankfurt am Main, Green Datacenter Germany GmbH, and has initiated specific projects for new data center capacities in Germany.
