The 20th KMU Swiss Symposium will take place on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Trafo Baden. The event will focus on the challenges of AI and digitalization and their current and future impact on our labour market and economy. The new world of work 4.0 offers both opportunities and risks for employees and the welfare state. In the best-case scenario, new work processes and occupational groups can develop thanks to AI, digitalization and automation, offering employees a wide range of opportunities to shape their own working lives. At the same time, there is a risk of a growing global concentration of data in the hands of a handful of monopolists who evade state control and taxation. Further risks lie in the loss, blurring of boundaries and consolidation of work, further acceleration, intensification and stress for everyone involved.<\/p>\n

A number of former speakers and illustrious personalities from business and politics are expected to attend the anniversary event. \"In addition to the informal atmosphere, participants appreciate the practical relevance of the presentations,\" says Armin Baumann, initiator of KMU Swiss.
