Once again this year, HR professionals will find a wealth of information on HRM and BGM topics at Personal Swiss. (Image: Julius Hatt \/ Personal Swiss)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

In addition to the \"classic\" HR topics, this year's Personal Swiss will focus on occupational health management (OHM) on the first day of the exhibition. The topic of \"health in the workplace\" is thus moving more into focus.<\/p>\n

A day under the sign of BGM<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Under the auspices of the Health Promotion Switzerland Foundation, the theme day on April 17, 2018, offers an opportunity to get ideas for the application and implementation of occupational health management in your own company. Various exhibitors will showcase their services in this area, and on a separate lecture stage, experts from, among others, the Swiss Cancer League, the Swiss Society for Nutrition SGE, the Lung League of Basel and the BGMnetzwerk.ch will share their know-how and experiences with trade fair visitors. For example, Urs Hof, a member of the support group for the \"Prevention in the Office\" campaign of the Federal Coordination Commission for Occupational Safety EKAS, will speak about the correct working posture at the office workplace and will also present various digital aids. The topic of \"Burnout prevention and new forms of work\" is also on the program: Dr. med. Hildburg Porschke from the Oberwaid Private Clinic will speak on this topic. Trainees will also be the focus of special attention for health promotion programs: The \"Friendly Work Space Apprentice\" project aims to strengthen the mental health of young people in the workplace environment. This will be presented by Anita Blum from the Swiss Health Promotion Foundation.<\/p>\n

Accident and stress prevention<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Behavior during leisure time also influences working life: 1 million accidents occur outside working hours every year in Switzerland, half of which affect people in the middle of their working lives. According to the Swiss Council for Accident Prevention (bfu), there is a corresponding need for action. On the \"Occupational Health Management Day\", Jeannette Jufer, Deputy Head of Operations at the bfu, will show how and by what means sustainable prevention can be introduced and implemented in companies.<\/p>\n

Konrad Wiesendanger, owner of ergosens, also knows that exercise - whether at work or in one's free time - is fundamentally positive. For him, however, it's not about exercise for physical fitness, but about performing mindful movements to combat stress. Wiesendanger will explain to the audience that the advantage of mindfulness in movement is that it can be used directly during the stress experience and leads to immediate centering.<\/p>\n

Health trail<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Another element of the program on the Occupational Health Management Day is the Health Trail: Here, the exhibitors make occupational health management a tangible experience for the visitors. Visitors to the trade fair complete various posts and receive a fact sheet on each topic covered, so that they can later implement what they have learned in their own company or apply the knowledge they have acquired. Participation in the Health Trail is recognized by the Swiss Society for Occupational Safety (SGAS) as continuing education. In order to claim continuing education units, at least two hours of the course \/ lectures must be completed.<\/p>\n
