After a successful start with several mandates, successful company sales and positive media coverage, the company is now looking to the future: with a focus on owner-managed SMEs, an international network of buyers and Marc Reinhardt as an experienced M&A partner, the company is bringing a new approach to succession planning in Switzerland.<\/p>\n

More relevant than ever: company succession in uncertain times<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In an increasingly unstable economic environment, characterized by geopolitical tensions, trade conflicts and the latest interest rate cuts by the Swiss National Bank in response to declining inflation, strategic company succession is becoming a decisive factor for stability. For many entrepreneurs, the question is no longer whether, but when and how they will hand over their company in a future-proof manner. Marktlink Switzerland is therefore positioning itself as a reliable M&A advisor for SMEs, with local expertise and international reach - to support entrepreneurs and companies in strategic handovers and succession processes. \"Succession is no longer a luxury project - it is business-critical. Successful transactions underline strategic focus<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Two recently completed M&A transactions in Switzerland underline this positioning: last year, Marktlink assisted the shareholders of Zurich-based IT service provider Aspectra AG in its sale to the German Convotis Group. In June 2025, Marktlink also supported Rohr Geb\u00e4udetechnik AG - a heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) company - in its sale to the Danish InstallerGroup, which specializes in electrical, plumbing, fibre optic, ventilation and cooling systems. With the acquisition of Rohr Geb\u00e4udetechnik AG and W. Rokitzky AG, InstallerGroup has successfully entered the Swiss market for air conditioning technology, installations and building automation. The two acquired Swiss companies together employ over 130 people and generate combined sales of around CHF 60 million.<\/p>\n

By supporting the transaction, Marktlink has demonstrated its ability to connect local companies with international buyers and achieve tangible results for both sides. Marktlink Switzerland focuses primarily on SMEs with more than 20 employees and an annual turnover of at least CHF 5 million, particularly in the areas of industry, construction, ICT, healthcare and business-related services.<\/p>\n

The pressure increases <\/strong><\/h3>\n

According to studies by SECO and KMU Next, up to 50,000 Swiss SMEs will face the challenge of company succession by 2030 due to demographic changes and ageing ownership structures. At the same time, the buyer market is becoming more selective, expectations are rising and the ideal time frame for handovers is becoming shorter.<\/p>\n
