The latest \u00abWork Reborn Report\u00bb from Lenovo, Leading Your Workforce to Triumph with AI<\/em><\/a>, is based on a survey of 6,000 employees worldwide. It concludes that more than 70% of employees use AI on a weekly basis, with up to a third doing so without supervision from the IT department. At the same time, 80% expect to increase their use of AI over the next year.<\/p>\r\n

\u00abThe introduction of AI is no longer the real challenge. It's the implementation,\u00bb says Rakshit Ghura, Vice President and General Manager for Digital Workplace Solutions at Lenovo. \u00abUsage is growing faster than organizations can control or secure it. Without this control, AI brings as many risks and costs as opportunities.\u00bb<\/p>\r\n

AI is increasing the attack surface faster than security can keep up<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n

As the use of AI increases, so do the risks associated with it. 61% of IT leaders report an increase in cybersecurity threats related to AI, but only 31% are confident they can manage these risks. At the same time, 43TP3T of employees are concerned that AI could lead to data leaks or security attacks.<\/p>\r\n

Without clear governance, AI quietly increases a company's attack surface, increasing the likelihood of security breaches, compliance violations and operational disruptions.<\/p>\r\n

Close the AI gap and achieve ROI faster<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n

More than 70% of employees recognize the potential of AI in terms of productivity increases, speed gains and quality improvements. However, the utilization of this potential depends on implementation.<\/p>\r\n

Companies that drive forward the integration of AI in a targeted manner make the leap from individual experiments to concrete, measurable results. They reduce unnecessary expenditure, limit risks and create a clear path for the company-wide scaling of AI.<\/p>\r\n

A uniformly managed interaction of devices, infrastructure and services makes AI a controllable and scalable strength instead of a confusing effort.<\/p>\r\n
