La deuxi\u00e8me place est revenue \u00e0 KNN Cellulose, des Pays-Bas, avec ses granul\u00e9s biocomposites fabriqu\u00e9s \u00e0 partir de papier toilette recycl\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 suisse Bcomp est arriv\u00e9e troisi\u00e8me avec powerRibs\u2122, un mat\u00e9riau composite \u00e0 base de fibres naturelles pour des applications de haute performance dans la construction l\u00e9g\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>En s'appuyant sur les derni\u00e8res connaissances en mati\u00e8re de mat\u00e9riaux composites \u00e0 base de fibres naturelles, l'entreprise suisse Bcomp a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 ses propres solutions de construction l\u00e9g\u00e8re pour les applications \u00e0 hautes performances. La technologie powerRibs\u2122 s'inspire des fines nervures des feuilles, ce qui permet au filet de renforcement d'atteindre une rigidit\u00e9 maximale pour un poids minimal. Ainsi, les fibres naturelles peuvent atteindre les performances des fibres de carbone dans une carrosserie de sport automobile et m\u00eame les remplacer. Il en r\u00e9sulte une empreinte carbone r\u00e9duite de 75 %, des co\u00fbts inf\u00e9rieurs de 30 % et une meilleure s\u00e9curit\u00e9 du produit, sans poussi\u00e8re toxique ni \u00e9clats tranchants, ainsi que des options de fin de vie viables. Jusqu'\u00e0 80 % des plastiques peuvent d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00eatre remplac\u00e9s par des charges biog\u00e8nes comme la farine de bois et le li\u00e8ge ou par des fibres naturelles pour les renforcer.
