Le syst\u00e8me de surveillance des abeilles ne fait rien d'autre que \"d'\u00e9couter\" les abeilles. Cependant, la technologie surveille - pour le moment - 20 000 abeilles et \u00e9galement ce qu'elles \"se disent\" entre elles afin de v\u00e9rifier leur sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n

\u00c9couter les abeilles<\/strong><\/p>\n

Des capteurs sp\u00e9ciaux sont plac\u00e9s sur la paroi d'une ruche. Ils sont \u00e9quip\u00e9s de microphones et d'acc\u00e9l\u00e9rom\u00e8tres afin de recueillir des d\u00e9tails sur les sons \u00e9mis par les abeilles. Outre les bruits, ils mesurent \u00e9galement les vibrations, la temp\u00e9rature et l'humidit\u00e9 dans la ruche. Ils peuvent ainsi r\u00e9agir imm\u00e9diatement en cas de comportement anormal.<\/p>\n

\"Pour comprendre la communication des abeilles, il faut se focaliser sur les ph\u00e9romones ou les sons. Avec ce syst\u00e8me de surveillance, nous ne collectons pas seulement des donn\u00e9es en temps r\u00e9el, nous pouvons aussi surveiller ce que les abeilles se communiquent entre elles. Par exemple, des informations sur la recherche de nourriture, si elles doivent se formater dans l'essaim ou si la reine des abeilles est dans la ruche\", explique Pooyanfar. Utilisation saisonni\u00e8re dans un premier temps<\/strong><\/p>\n

Le syst\u00e8me high-tech intelligent sera d'abord utilis\u00e9 pendant l'\u00e9t\u00e9. Il y a toutefois de bonnes chances pour que la technique soit \u00e9tablie \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle. En effet, les syst\u00e8mes actuels fournissent des informations moins d\u00e9taill\u00e9es, mais interrompent l'activit\u00e9 des abeilles pendant environ 24 heures \u00e0 chaque ouverture de la ruche. Afin de permettre \u00e0 un plus grand nombre d'apiculteurs de mieux surveiller leurs essaims, Pooyanfar veut fabriquer lui-m\u00eame les capteurs.<\/p>\n

Les abeilles restent une denr\u00e9e rare<\/strong><\/p>\n

La population d'abeilles a diminu\u00e9 de 30 % au cours de la derni\u00e8re d\u00e9cennie, c'est pourquoi il est important d'am\u00e9liorer la compr\u00e9hension et les connaissances relatives \u00e0 l'abeille domestique. Surtout parce que celle-ci influence fortement l'environnement en pollinisant les cultures et les fleurs. De nombreuses souches d'abeilles se sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 effondr\u00e9es. Pour minimiser la mortalit\u00e9 des abeilles \u00e0 long terme, de nouvelles technologies comme celle-ci sont n\u00e9cessaires.<\/p>\n
