Un bon leadership est d\u00e9j\u00e0 un d\u00e9fi lorsque vous occupez formellement la position du chef ou de la cheffe. Car m\u00eame votre \"position power\" ne vous sert pas \u00e0 grand-chose si les gens ne vous suivent qu'\u00e0 contrec\u0153ur. Vous pouvez alors tout au plus imposer des r\u00e9sultats \u00e0 court terme. Cela ne fonctionne jamais \u00e0 moyen et \u00e0 long terme. C'est encore plus difficile lorsque vous devez diriger les autres, mais que vous n'avez pas d'autorit\u00e9 formelle ?<\/p>\n

D'apr\u00e8s mes observations, de tels postes sont de plus en plus fr\u00e9quents : qu'il s'agisse du gestionnaire de portefeuille de produits sur plusieurs divisions, du directeur commercial global qui d\u00e9pend des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s nationales ou du chef de projet avec vingt membres de l'\u00e9quipe de projet issus des domaines les plus divers. Dans tous ces cas, l'influence est indirecte. Comment obtenir un maximum de r\u00e9sultats avec votre \u00e9quipe virtuelle dans ces cas-l\u00e0 ?<\/p>\n

Eh bien, la r\u00e9ponse r\u00e9side dans le fait que le leadership de haut niveau a toujours signifi\u00e9 une influence de haut niveau, que ce soit avec ou sans position formelle. Le leadership sans poste d\u00e9pend donc encore plus de votre influence.<\/p>\n

La question est donc la suivante : comment influencez-vous les gens dans votre sens, m\u00eame s'ils ont un autre chef ?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Voici trois questions importantes auxquelles il faut r\u00e9pondre :<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. \"Qu'est-ce que je veux ?\"<\/strong>
    \nCette question peut para\u00eetre tr\u00e8s simple, mais la plupart des gens ont de grandes difficult\u00e9s \u00e0 y r\u00e9pondre (c'est en tout cas ce que je constate r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement dans mon coaching). Il est tr\u00e8s important que vous puissiez citer des r\u00e9sultats clairs pour des p\u00e9riodes pr\u00e9cises : Que voulez-vous atteindre exactement d'ici la fin de l'ann\u00e9e ? Avec qui ? Et pourquoi ? Car si vous n'\u00eates pas clair \u00e0 cent pour cent sur ce que vous voulez exactement, comment les autres peuvent-ils vous suivre ? Comment allez-vous convaincre les autres ?<\/li>\n
  2. \"Qu'est-ce que les autres ont \u00e0 y gagner ?\"<\/strong>
    \nDans le domaine de la vente, cela s'appelle \"l'argumentation sur les avantages\". Qu'est-ce que les autres, ceux que vous voulez influencer, ont \u00e0 gagner de votre r\u00f4le et de votre leadership ? Quelle valeur apportez-vous \u00e0 leurs yeux ? Pour beaucoup de personnes, cette id\u00e9e est difficile, mais dans une telle position, vous devez aussi vous vendre vous-m\u00eame. Vous devez pouvoir d\u00e9montrer clairement pourquoi les autres devraient consacrer leur pr\u00e9cieux temps \u00e0 vos sujets. Un bon moyen est d'ailleurs (comme dans la vente) de demander concr\u00e8tement aux autres.<\/li>\n
  3. \"Comment peut-on<\/strong>\u00f6<\/strong>pouvons-nous profiter les uns des autres ?\"<\/strong>
    \nC'est une bonne question \u00e0 poser aux personnes avec lesquelles vous souhaitez r\u00e9aliser quelque chose ensemble. Une question aussi ouverte et positive invite \u00e0 la r\u00e9flexion. Conseil suppl\u00e9mentaire : vous pouvez \u00e9galement poser la question en rapport avec des th\u00e8mes sp\u00e9cifiques que vous souhaitez faire avancer. Vous orientez ainsi les autres dans la direction que vous souhaitez. C'est ce qu'on appelle \"exercer une influence\". Vous deviendrez ainsi un meilleur leader.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Donc, si vous vous trouvez dans une situation de leadership difficile, je vous recommande de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ces trois questions. Vous augmenterez ainsi votre influence d'un bon cran.<\/p>\n
