Les entreprises sont \u00e9valu\u00e9es \u00e0 l'aide d'une m\u00e9thode holistique coh\u00e9rente en deux \u00e9tapes, une analyse statistique et un audit sur place. Cet examen porte sur l'engagement de la direction en faveur de l'\u00e9galit\u00e9 salariale, sur les processus et les politiques RH, ainsi que sur la perception qu'ont les collaborateurs de l'engagement de l'entreprise en faveur de l'\u00e9galit\u00e9 salariale. L'audit est r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par des experts de PwC. La m\u00e9thode a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e en collaboration avec l'Universit\u00e9 de Gen\u00e8ve. Les entreprises qui r\u00e9pondent aux exigences re\u00e7oivent le label de la fondation Equal-Salary pour une dur\u00e9e de trois ans. Le Bureau f\u00e9d\u00e9ral de l'\u00e9galit\u00e9 entre femmes et hommes a soutenu financi\u00e8rement le d\u00e9veloppement de la certification. La Commission europ\u00e9enne l'a reprise dans son rapport \"Tackling the Gender Pay Gap\". Hans Geene, responsable People and Organisation chez PwC Suisse, d\u00e9clare : \"Gr\u00e2ce au label Equal-Salary, les entreprises peuvent se profiler comme des employeurs \u00e9quitables et attractifs, car elles sont pleinement conscientes de leur responsabilit\u00e9 envers la soci\u00e9t\u00e9\".
