Selon la Suva, le nombre d'accidents professionnels a de nouveau baiss\u00e9 en 2016.(KEYSTONE\/PHOTOALTO\/Vincent Hazat)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

En 2016, les assur\u00e9s ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 461 000 accidents \u00e0 la Suva, comme le montre l'entreprise dans ses derniers chiffres. Le nombre d'accidents professionnels et non professionnels est rest\u00e9 l\u00e9g\u00e8rement inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 celui de l'ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente : les quelque 178 000 accidents et maladies professionnels enregistr\u00e9s ont diminu\u00e9 de 1,1 pour cent, les accidents non professionnels ont baiss\u00e9 de 0,5 pour cent pour atteindre pr\u00e8s de 264 000. Dans l'assurance-accidents pour ch\u00f4meurs, le nombre d'accidents a augment\u00e9 presque parall\u00e8lement \u00e0 l'augmentation du nombre de demandeurs d'emploi. Les chiffres ont \u00e9t\u00e9 communiqu\u00e9s le 15 f\u00e9vrier 2017 via un communiqu\u00e9 de presse.<\/p>\n

Dans l'assurance contre les accidents du travail, le nombre d'accidents a continuellement baiss\u00e9 depuis 2011, de 5,5 pour cent au total. Et ce, bien que le nombre de travailleurs \u00e0 temps plein ait augment\u00e9 durant cette p\u00e9riode. Le risque d'accident professionnel (nombre d'accidents pour 1000 travailleurs \u00e0 plein temps) diminue \u00e9galement depuis des ann\u00e9es, comme l'indique encore l'entreprise. La Suva attribue ce recul d'une part \u00e0 son travail de pr\u00e9vention dans le domaine de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 au travail. D'autre part, les activit\u00e9s \u00e0 risque diminuent de mani\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9rale en raison des changements structurels continus - par exemple en raison de l'augmentation des processus automatis\u00e9s, poursuit le communiqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Dans l'ensemble, la Suva peut pr\u00e9senter un bon r\u00e9sultat malgr\u00e9 des co\u00fbts plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s : En 2016, l'assurance a d\u00e9bours\u00e9 1,35 milliard de francs pour les indemnit\u00e9s journali\u00e8res, soit 3,5 % de plus que l'ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente. La dur\u00e9e moyenne de perception des indemnit\u00e9s journali\u00e8res est toutefois rest\u00e9e stable, \u00e0 environ 40 jours. La hausse des co\u00fbts des indemnit\u00e9s journali\u00e8res s'explique notamment par le fait que davantage de cas ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9compt\u00e9s en 2016 (+2,6 pour cent), soit pr\u00e8s de 231 000 cas au total. La raison en est, selon la Suva, qu'en 2015, on est pass\u00e9 \u00e0 un nouveau logiciel pour le r\u00e8glement des sinistres. Ce changement a entra\u00een\u00e9 des retards de travail qui ont pu \u00eatre r\u00e9sorb\u00e9s l'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re. Cela se refl\u00e8te maintenant dans les chiffres. Par ailleurs, les co\u00fbts des indemnit\u00e9s journali\u00e8res ont \u00e9t\u00e9 influenc\u00e9s par la hausse g\u00e9n\u00e9rale des salaires moyens ainsi que par l'augmentation du gain maximal assur\u00e9 au 1er janvier 2016, pr\u00e9cise la Suva.<\/p>\n
