(Image : pixabay)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Chaque drone de plus dans l'espace a\u00e9rien entra\u00eene de nouveaux d\u00e9fis en mati\u00e8re de s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Mais les drones offrent aussi de nouvelles possibilit\u00e9s d'innovation. En 2016, skyguide a lanc\u00e9 un projet d'utilisation de drones pour l'entretien des syst\u00e8mes d'atterrissage automatiques. Les syst\u00e8mes d'atterrissage automatiques permettent aux pilotes d'effectuer une approche et un atterrissage en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sur la piste en cas de mauvaise visibilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Ces syst\u00e8mes doivent \u00eatre calibr\u00e9s tous les six mois dans les a\u00e9roports suisses. Actuellement, des vols d'\u00e9talonnage sont effectu\u00e9s \u00e0 diff\u00e9rentes altitudes et \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents angles de descente. Pour ce faire, un avion de mesure sp\u00e9cialement \u00e9quip\u00e9 est amen\u00e9 d'Allemagne. Cela engendre des co\u00fbts, des \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre et du bruit pendant les heures de faible trafic (g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement la nuit dans les a\u00e9roports internationaux).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Avantages du drone \u00e0 Zurich et Gen\u00e8ve <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\"Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l'utilisation de drones pour contr\u00f4ler les syst\u00e8mes d'atterrissage automatique, skyguide peut r\u00e9duire fortement les co\u00fbts, les perturbations op\u00e9rationnelles, le bruit et les \u00e9missions de CO2\", explique Herv\u00e9 Demule, ing\u00e9nieur et chef de projet. Depuis janvier 2018, les drones sont utilis\u00e9s sur les a\u00e9roports de Zurich et de Gen\u00e8ve pour la maintenance pr\u00e9ventive et corrective du syst\u00e8me d'atterrissage aux instruments (ILS).<\/p>\n<p>Au cours du second semestre, ils devraient \u00e9galement \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s dans les a\u00e9roports r\u00e9gionaux. Parall\u00e8lement, l'utilisation de drones est \u00e0 l'\u00e9tude pour d'autres syst\u00e8mes d'aide \u00e0 la navigation.<\/p>\n<p>Herv\u00e9 Demule poursuit : \"Actuellement, nous collectons des donn\u00e9es afin de garantir des r\u00e9sultats de mesure stables et pr\u00e9cis. Fin 2019, lorsque la pr\u00e9cision des mesures et la corr\u00e9lation avec les donn\u00e9es collect\u00e9es par avion auront \u00e9t\u00e9 confirm\u00e9es, skyguide pr\u00e9voit d'effectuer moins de vols d'\u00e9talonnage\".<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nombre de vols d'\u00e9talonnage r\u00e9duit de moiti\u00e9 d'ici 2020<\/strong><br \/>\nL'utilisation de drones \u00e9quip\u00e9s d'instruments de mesure doit permettre de r\u00e9duire le nombre de vols de calibrage pour les ILS de 50 pour cent \u00e0 partir de 2020 et de 70 pour cent \u00e0 partir de 2023. Cela permettra de r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de CO2 de 142 tonnes par an \u00e0 partir de 2020.
