L'\"Aerogel Architecture Award\" a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 2020 par l'Empa et les partenaires industriels Fixit, Agitec, Haga AG Naturbaustoffe, Hasit et l'association AdvaPor. Pour l'\u00e9dition 2022, huit bureaux d'Allemagne, de Chine et de Suisse avaient soumis leurs projets. Un jury compos\u00e9 de cinq experts, Matthias Koebel (Suisse), Ralf Kilian (Allemagne), Michael O'Connor (France), Volker Herzog (Allemagne) et Manfred Wehdorn (Autriche), a \u00e9valu\u00e9 les projets soumis en fonction de leur valeur patrimoniale, de leur efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique et de l'originalit\u00e9 de la solution choisie. Les mat\u00e9riaux utilis\u00e9s pour la r\u00e9novation sont des a\u00e9rogels, des corps solides tr\u00e8s poreux dont les pores repr\u00e9sentent jusqu'\u00e0 99,98 % du volume. Ils prennent peu de place et sont tr\u00e8s flexibles. C'est pourquoi les a\u00e9rogels sont utilis\u00e9s l\u00e0 o\u00f9 les mat\u00e9riaux isolants traditionnels ne sont pas possibles, par exemple dans les b\u00e2timents class\u00e9s monuments historiques.<\/p>\n

Premier prix pour un site du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO<\/h3>\n

La remise des prix a eu lieu au NEST, le b\u00e2timent de recherche et d'innovation de l'Empa et de l'Eawag. Le gagnant est un projet impressionnant de Darmstadt, con\u00e7u par le bureau d'architectes\u00a0schneider+schumacher<\/a> est en cours de r\u00e9alisation. Il s'agit de la r\u00e9novation du b\u00e2timent d'exposition unique de la Mathildenh\u00f6he, class\u00e9 au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO depuis 2021. Outre des vitrages modernes qui permettent une utilisation contr\u00f4l\u00e9e de la lumi\u00e8re du jour, un nouveau type d'enduit isolant min\u00e9ral performant en granul\u00e9s d'a\u00e9rogel sera utilis\u00e9 dans l'enveloppe ext\u00e9rieure de ce b\u00e2timent historique. Cela permettra d'am\u00e9liorer consid\u00e9rablement la qualit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique de la fa\u00e7ade, comme il est indiqu\u00e9. \u00c0 l'avenir, les conditions du lieu seront \u00e9galement mieux exploit\u00e9es, par exemple en utilisant le r\u00e9servoir d'eau historique situ\u00e9 sous la maison d'exposition comme r\u00e9servoir d'\u00e9nergie.<\/p>\n

R\u00e9duire la consommation d'\u00e9nergie pas \u00e0 pas<\/h3>\n

La paroisse de Heilig Geist \u00e0 Zurich est arriv\u00e9e en deuxi\u00e8me position. Le centre comprend une \u00e9glise, des salles communes, des bureaux et des appartements et a \u00e9t\u00e9 ouvert en 1973. Le fait qu'\u00e0 l'\u00e9poque, on ne se souciait gu\u00e8re de l'isolation des b\u00e2timents s'est traduit par la forte consommation d'\u00e9nergie de la paroisse. Au fil des ann\u00e9es, l'architecte Beat K\u00e4mpfen de\u00a0K\u00e4mpfen Zinke + Partner<\/a>\u00a0a donc mis en \u0153uvre diff\u00e9rentes mesures pour optimiser l'\u00e9nergie du b\u00e2timent. Il s'agit notamment de plusieurs installations solaires sur l'ensemble du site, de l'utilisation d'a\u00e9rogel dans la fa\u00e7ade et du remplacement du chauffage au gaz par un syst\u00e8me de pompe \u00e0 chaleur avec sondes g\u00e9othermiques. Il a toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 important que l'aspect ext\u00e9rieur de la paroisse reste le plus possible inchang\u00e9. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ces nouveaut\u00e9s, le centre a obtenu le certificat Minergie en 2020.<\/p>\n

R\u00e9nover les b\u00e2timents historiques sur le plan \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique tout en pr\u00e9servant leur aspect ext\u00e9rieur<\/h3>\n

La troisi\u00e8me place du podium est occup\u00e9e par un b\u00e2timent de Winterthur. La maison du Lindberg a \u00e9t\u00e9 construite en 1963 et a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e de mani\u00e8re cibl\u00e9e au fil des ans, sans que la structure de base ne soit modifi\u00e9e. Le ma\u00eetre d'ouvrage a \u00e9galement pos\u00e9 cette exigence \u00e0 l'\u00e9quipe dirig\u00e9e par l'architecte lors de la r\u00e9novation de l'enveloppe ext\u00e9rieure.\u00a0Anne-Kathrin Halt<\/a>. Cela signifiait, entre autres, que le volume du b\u00e2timent ne devait pas \u00eatre modifi\u00e9 et que diff\u00e9rents \u00e9l\u00e9ments, comme un relief en c\u00e9ramique sur le mur de la maison, devaient \u00eatre conserv\u00e9s. C'est pourquoi il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d'isoler la villa au moyen de panneaux d'a\u00e9rogel. Pour ce faire, le jet de truelle existant, y compris l'enduit de base, a d'abord \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9moli jusqu'\u00e0 la ma\u00e7onnerie. Le volume mis \u00e0 nu a \u00e9t\u00e9 combl\u00e9 avec des panneaux d'a\u00e9rogel de 20 mm de large, le jet de truelle a \u00e9t\u00e9 refait et la structure d'origine en b\u00e9ton apparent a \u00e9t\u00e9 reconstitu\u00e9e.<\/p>\n
