Selon les estimations des experts, ce chiffre devrait atteindre 27 milliards d'ici 2027 : des ampoules intelligentes aux aspirateurs intelligents en passant par la surveillance des parkings pour les communes. Mais les exigences et les r\u00e9glementations nationales en mati\u00e8re de smart home sont tout aussi vari\u00e9es que leurs domaines d'application. R\u00e9sultat : les fabricants ou les distributeurs sont confront\u00e9s \u00e0 des difficult\u00e9s d'importation et de vente - les consommateurs \u00e0 des pertes de performance correspondantes des appareils. Derri\u00e8re MATTER 1.0 se trouve le consortium de projet Connectivity Standards Alliance's (CSA) avec au total plus de 550 entreprises technologiques participantes et actives au niveau international. Celui-ci a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 un protocole qui d\u00e9finit des exigences et des conditions cadres standardis\u00e9es et transnationales pour les produits Smart Home. \"Les utilisateurs souhaitent des produits Smart-Home qui s'utilisent de mani\u00e8re intuitive tout en offrant un maximum de fonctions et de performances\", explique Lourens Koopmans, expert senior en technologies sans fil chez T\u00dcV Rheinland. \"De plus, les appareils ne doivent pas seulement fonctionner dans un syst\u00e8me smart home sp\u00e9cifique, mais pouvoir communiquer entre eux dans diff\u00e9rents syst\u00e8mes. MATTER harmonise les diff\u00e9rentes sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9s techniques et juridiques propres \u00e0 chaque pays dans un protocole standardis\u00e9\".<\/p>\r\n

De meilleurs produits gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des normes internationales uniformes<\/h3>\r\n

Au final, les produits certifi\u00e9s MATTER b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d'une connectivit\u00e9 et d'une interop\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 am\u00e9lior\u00e9es, quelle que soit la marque ou la plateforme. En outre, des normes techniques sp\u00e9ciales garantissent un fonctionnement des appareils beaucoup plus efficace et donc moins gourmand en \u00e9nergie. MATTER fonctionne via Ethernet, Wi-Fi et Thread et utilise le Bluetooth \u00e0 faible consommation d'\u00e9nergie pour la connexion des appareils.
