Les pr\u00e9visions, les perspectives et les pronostics ont \u00e9galement le vent en poupe pendant les semaines pr\u00e9c\u00e9dant No\u00ebl. Mais presque toujours, ils ne font qu'extrapoler ce qui s'est d\u00e9j\u00e0 dessin\u00e9 au cours de l'ann\u00e9e \u00e9coul\u00e9e. Avec le th\u00e8me des Dark Data, il s'agit plut\u00f4t de mettre \u00e0 l'envers les convictions courantes et de les \u00e9clairer d'un \u0153il critique. C'est ce qu'a fait l'entreprise Aparavi, bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Zoug, un fournisseur de solutions pour l'intelligence des donn\u00e9es et l'automatisation :<\/p>\r\n<ol>\r\n\t<li><strong>Le cloud avale tout si n\u00e9cessaire :<\/strong> Cette approche n'est pas seulement ignorante, elle est \u00e9galement co\u00fbteuse, peu durable et potentiellement dangereuse. Celui qui se contente de d\u00e9placer ses pools de donn\u00e9es non structur\u00e9es d\u00e9bordantes vers le cloud ne r\u00e9sout aucun probl\u00e8me, il ne fait que le d\u00e9placer quelque part - au sens propre du terme.<\/li>\r\n\t<li><strong>Beaucoup aide beaucoup :<\/strong> Plus une entreprise stocke de donn\u00e9es, mieux c'est. Ce sont tous des tr\u00e9sors de donn\u00e9es, non ? Mais non ! Elles peuvent \u00eatre un fardeau \u00e0 plus d'un titre. Une entreprise assise sur des t\u00e9raoctets de donn\u00e9es non structur\u00e9es ne peut pas savoir tout ce qui s'y cache. Et une grande partie d'entre elles sont superflues et potentiellement \u00e0 risque en raison de donn\u00e9es personnelles et d'informations critiques pour la s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/li>\r\n\t<li><strong>La durabilit\u00e9, c'est quand le gaspillage n'est pas visible :<\/strong> Les pools de donn\u00e9es non structur\u00e9es qui d\u00e9bordent n\u00e9cessitent des t\u00e9raoctets d'espace de stockage. Mais ceux-ci sont invisibles dans la propre cave ou cach\u00e9s chez le fournisseur d'acc\u00e8s et ne provoquent pas d'\u00e9missions visibles. En fait, il est dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de stations de mesure du CO2 aux carrefours de donn\u00e9es particuli\u00e8rement fr\u00e9quent\u00e9s. On comprendrait alors rapidement que le big data est aussi un big waste - et qu'il faut enfin agir.\u00a0<\/li>\r\n\t<li><strong>La s\u00e9curit\u00e9, c'est quand il ne s'est encore rien pass\u00e9 :<\/strong> Les informations alarmantes sur les violations de donn\u00e9es, m\u00eame au sein de groupes cot\u00e9s en bourse, ne r\u00e9veillent \u00e9tonnamment pas les gens, mais les endorment. Comme si cela r\u00e9duisait la probabilit\u00e9 d'\u00eatre soi-m\u00eame pris. Erreur ! Personne ne sait exactement quels risques de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et de conformit\u00e9 se cachent dans les pools de donn\u00e9es non structur\u00e9s. Si l'on veut \u00e0 nouveau dormir sur ses deux oreilles, il faut s'en occuper d\u00e8s maintenant.<\/li>\r\n\t<li><strong>La prochaine tendance fera l'affaire :<\/strong> La confiance dans la technologie de donn\u00e9es la plus r\u00e9cente est tout \u00e0 fait honorable. Mais r\u00e9sout-elle r\u00e9ellement les d\u00e9fis qui se posent ? Apr\u00e8s le data warehouse, la data fabric, le data lake et le data mesh, suffit-il de miser sur le prochain engouement ?
