Cela se r\u00e9percute sur le trafic dans toute la Suisse.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Chaque matin, des centaines de milliers de personnes sont bloqu\u00e9es dans les embouteillages dans les agglom\u00e9rations. La situation va s'aggraver dans les ann\u00e9es \u00e0 venir. Une simulation du spin-off de l'ETH <a href=\"http:\/\/senozon.com\/de\/front\" target=\"_blank\" data-cke-saved-href=\"\/\/senozon.com\/de\/front\" rel=\"noopener\">Senozon<\/a> montre maintenant que le deuxi\u00e8me tube fait d\u00e9border le vase. Sur le contournement ouest de Zurich, on ne peut \u00e9viter les bouchons \u00e0 aucune heure de la journ\u00e9e, la circulation est bloqu\u00e9e dans l'agglom\u00e9ration de Lucerne et le Tessin est submerg\u00e9. Et : avec un 2e tube \u00e0 4 voies, le trafic par les cols du Simplon et du San Bernardino augmente encore plus que sur le Gothard lui-m\u00eame.<\/p>\n<p>Avec le 2e tube, le Gothard deviendrait la liaison routi\u00e8re \u00e0 quatre voies la plus courte entre le nord et le sud de l'Europe. \"Il ne fait aucun doute que cet itin\u00e9raire serait de plus en plus utilis\u00e9 par le trafic de transit international\", d\u00e9clare Caroline Beglinger, copr\u00e9sidente de l'association \"Non au 2e tube au Gothard\" et co-directrice de l'ATE. \"Une augmentation \u00e0 2 millions de camions aurait logiquement d'\u00e9normes cons\u00e9quences sur la situation du trafic\". C'est pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment ce qu'a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 la spin-off de l'EPF Senozon.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Balmer est CEO de l'entreprise Senozon : \"Notre mod\u00e8le de mobilit\u00e9 nous permet d'effectuer des analyses d\u00e9taill\u00e9es des sc\u00e9narios de trafic les plus divers. Nous int\u00e9grons des donn\u00e9es statiques dans nos simulations et pouvons ainsi faire des d\u00e9clarations pr\u00e9cises sur les effets des changements, par exemple de l'infrastructure, sur la situation du trafic\".<\/p>\n<p>Dans la r\u00e9gion de Zurich, il n'est plus possible de passer \u00e0 cause du 2e tube : les camions suppl\u00e9mentaires provoquent une extension des pics de bouchons. A aucune heure de la journ\u00e9e, on ne peut \u00e9viter les bouchons sur le contournement ouest. Jon Pult, copr\u00e9sident de l'association \"Non au 2e tube au Gothard\" et pr\u00e9sident de l'Initiative des Alpes, d\u00e9clare : \"L'argent qui permettrait \u00e9ventuellement d'am\u00e9liorer la situation fait d\u00e9faut, car 4 milliards ont \u00e9t\u00e9 investis inutilement dans le 2e tube\".<\/p>\n<p>L'enqu\u00eate sur le San Bernardino et le Simplon r\u00e9serve une surprise. Comme il n'y a souvent plus de passage jusqu'au Gothard, le nombre de camions augmente de mani\u00e8re significative en Valais et dans les Grisons. Ils vont m\u00eame plus que doubler \u00e0 cause du deuxi\u00e8me tube !<\/p>\n<p>C'est l'agglom\u00e9ration de Lucerne qui serait la plus touch\u00e9e par un deuxi\u00e8me tube. Le mod\u00e8le calcule que chaque pendulaire devra se d\u00e9placer plus longtemps chaque jour \u00e0 cause des camions de transit - en plus de l'\u00e9norme charge de trafic d\u00e9j\u00e0 existante. \"Chaque ann\u00e9e, le trafic de transit occasionne \u00e0 lui seul des co\u00fbts de plusieurs millions de francs, parce que les gens de Stans, Altdorf, Emmen, etc. arrivent en retard au travail ou que les livraisons sont bloqu\u00e9es\", explique Jon Pult. \"La solution est pourtant \u00e9vidente : si l'on transf\u00e8re le trafic de transit sur le rail au lieu de construire des tubes routiers inutiles, tout le pays en profitera\".<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les m\u00e9decins mettent en garde<\/strong><br \/>\nDe m\u00eame, les <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aefu.ch\/index.php?id=6123\" target=\"_blank\" data-cke-saved-href=\"\/\/www.aefu.ch\/index.php?id=6123\" rel=\"noopener\">M\u00e9decins suisses pour la protection de l'environnement<\/a> (AEFU) mettent en garde contre un deuxi\u00e8me tube : s'il est construit, il provoquera un afflux de camions et donc encore plus de maladies respiratoires et cardio-vasculaires. Des scientifiques de l'Institut tropical et de sant\u00e9 publique suisse de B\u00e2le confirment les observations des m\u00e9decins sur place. De plus, les 3 milliards de francs n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 la construction d'un deuxi\u00e8me tunnel au Gothard font d\u00e9faut dans les agglom\u00e9rations, o\u00f9 le trafic pendulaire massif doit \u00eatre organis\u00e9 de toute urgence de mani\u00e8re plus durable, explique un pneumologue genevois.<\/p>\n<p>Dans les cantons d'Uri et du Tessin, nombreux sont ceux qui souffrent d\u00e9j\u00e0 de la pollution de l'air, caus\u00e9e notamment par les camions.
