(Image : Depositphotos.com)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Il est \u00e9vident que l'utilisation de cargobikes permet d'\u00e9conomiser de l'\u00e9nergie et de r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de CO2 et les nuisances sonores. Un nouvel aper\u00e7u de la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration europ\u00e9enne des cyclistes (ECF) montre \u00e0 quel point la pr\u00e9sence de ces cargovelos dans les villes s'est d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<h3>Un potentiel avec des obstacles<\/h3>\n<p>En Suisse aussi, les cargobikes ont un grand potentiel. Que ce soit pour le transport d'enfants ou de marchandises. La motivation pour utiliser un v\u00e9lo-cargo n'est pas seulement le transport d'enfants ou de marchandises. De nombreux utilisateurs souhaitent \u00e9galement se d\u00e9placer de mani\u00e8re \u00e9cologique et renoncer par exemple \u00e0 la voiture, tout en continuant \u00e0 se d\u00e9placer de mani\u00e8re autonome et efficace. \"Les cargovelos sont un \"game changer\"\", d\u00e9clare Matthias Aebischer, pr\u00e9sident de PRO VELO Suisse. \"Ils sont l'une des cl\u00e9s pour des villes climatiquement neutres et agr\u00e9ables \u00e0 vivre, car ils contribuent \u00e0 r\u00e9soudre plusieurs probl\u00e8mes urbains \u00e0 la fois\".<\/p>\n<p>Les trois principaux obstacles au d\u00e9veloppement rapide des v\u00e9los-cargos sont les restrictions l\u00e9gales concernant les v\u00e9hicules, la largeur des infrastructures cyclables et la disponibilit\u00e9 des places de stationnement.<\/p>\n<h3>Lever les restrictions pour les cargobikes<\/h3>\n<p>Pour PRO VELO, la limitation de poids et de largeur des v\u00e9los-cargos doit \u00eatre lib\u00e9ralis\u00e9e. Il en va de m\u00eame pour le transport d'enfants sur les diff\u00e9rents types de v\u00e9los \u00e9lectriques.<\/p>\n<p>Du point de vue de l'infrastructure, ce sont surtout les villes qui sont sollicit\u00e9es. La largeur des bandes et pistes cyclables n'est pas encore adapt\u00e9e aux v\u00e9los-cargos dans de nombreux endroits. Pro Velo attend donc des cantons et des villes qu'ils dimensionnent en cons\u00e9quence le r\u00e9seau cyclable, qui doit de toute fa\u00e7on \u00eatre \u00e9tendu en raison de la loi sur les pistes cyclables. La cr\u00e9ation de plateformes logistiques permettant le transbordement de camions et de v\u00e9hicules de livraison sur des cargovelos doit \u00e9galement \u00eatre encourag\u00e9e. Dans ce domaine, les villes peuvent participer au <a href=\"https:\/\/pro-velo.us12.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=5e1ce0f2058c644a1250e58ca&amp;id=0239238347&amp;e=0825f3e74f\">Exemple d'Oslo<\/a> orienter.<\/p>\n<p>Comme les cargobikes sont trop grands pour les places de stationnement pour v\u00e9los, il faut des surfaces de stationnement suppl\u00e9mentaires pour eux. Une possibilit\u00e9 est de r\u00e9affecter des places de parking pour voitures. Pro Velo veut cependant aller plus loin et propose \u00e0 la Conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration de lib\u00e9rer les places de stationnement pour voitures de mani\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9rale pour les cargovelos.<\/p>\n<h3>Subventionner les cargobikes ?<\/h3>\n<p>Une autre incitation pratiqu\u00e9e dans diff\u00e9rents pays europ\u00e9ens, dont r\u00e9cemment l'Autriche, est la subvention \u00e0 l'achat d'un cargov\u00e9lo. Ainsi, au cours des cinq derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, l'achat de 10 000 cargovelos a \u00e9t\u00e9 soutenu financi\u00e8rement dans toute l'Europe. Pour la Suisse, on peut citer l'exemple du <a href=\"https:\/\/pro-velo.us12.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=5e1ce0f2058c644a1250e58ca&amp;id=072c9f3d1f&amp;e=0825f3e74f\">Canton de Gen\u00e8ve<\/a> qui le pratique depuis 2019.
