La Fondation Suisse pour le Climat \u00e9crit dans son dernier communiqu\u00e9 sur les projets de protection du climat prim\u00e9s : Les vaches nuisent autant au climat que toutes les voitures, camions et avions r\u00e9unis. Le m\u00e9thane qui se forme dans leur estomac est plusieurs fois plus nocif que le CO2. Une PME romande veut maintenant faire en sorte que les vaches \u00e9mettent moins de m\u00e9thane. Un additif alimentaire \u00e0 base d'ail et d'agrumes, appel\u00e9 MOOTRAL, devrait permettre de r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de m\u00e9thane jusqu'\u00e0 38%.<\/p>\n

\"Nous soutenons MOOTRAL par un don de 200'000 francs\", explique Vincent Eckert, directeur de la Fondation Suisse pour le Climat. Cela permettra \u00e0 la PME de distribuer le compl\u00e9ment alimentaire \u00e0 un prix r\u00e9duit au d\u00e9but. \"Il est important que de telles mesures s'imposent rapidement, car l'humanit\u00e9 doit r\u00e9duire de moiti\u00e9 ses \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre au cours des 12 prochaines ann\u00e9es par rapport \u00e0 1990\", explique Eckert.<\/p>\n

16 projets de protection du climat re\u00e7oivent des subventions<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dans sa s\u00e9rie d'attributions de printemps, la Fondation Suisse pour le Climat soutient de nombreuses autres PME avec des subventions. Ainsi, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 vaudoise Revopack veut r\u00e9duire de moiti\u00e9 le nombre de trajets en camion pour l'\u00e9limination des bouteilles, des bo\u00eetes de conserve et des canettes gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une nouvelle presse de recyclage. La presse compacte est install\u00e9e directement aux points de retour et comprime les bouteilles de moiti\u00e9, les bo\u00eetes de conserve et les canettes m\u00eame de plus de 80%.<\/p>\n

D'autres PME soutenues d\u00e9veloppent de nouveaux types d'\u00e9oliennes ou utilisent l'intelligence artificielle pour g\u00e9rer plus efficacement les canalisations. Des \"vieilles connaissances\" re\u00e7oivent \u00e9galement de nouvelles subventions : La PME biennoise Joulia a d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9, avec le soutien financier de la Fondation Suisse pour le Climat, un bac de douche qui pr\u00e9chauffe l'eau fra\u00eeche avec la chaleur de l'eau us\u00e9e et \u00e9conomise ainsi beaucoup d'\u00e9nergie de chauffage.<\/p>\n

Entre-temps, il existe \u00e9galement une rigole de douche qui est int\u00e9gr\u00e9e de mani\u00e8re invisible dans le sol de la douche. La PME veut maintenant investir dans une fabrication plus avantageuse, qui rendrait la r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration de chaleur encore plus attrayante. Pour ce faire, elle b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie \u00e0 nouveau du soutien de la fondation.<\/p>\n

\"L'\u00e9ventail des projets soumis est \u00e9norme\", se r\u00e9jouit le directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Eckert. \"Les PME s'attaquent \u00e0 la lutte contre le changement climatique sous tous les angles possibles. C'est exactement ce dont nous avons besoin si nous voulons \u00e9viter les pires cons\u00e9quences du changement climatique\".
\nBanques, assurances et autres prestataires de services \u00e0 bord<\/p>\n

La Fondation Suisse pour le Climat est financ\u00e9e par 27 grandes entreprises de services de Suisse et du Liechtenstein. Elles font don de leur remboursement net de la taxe sur le CO2 \u00e0 la fondation commune, qui soutient ainsi des projets de protection climatique de PME locales. Apr\u00e8s une ann\u00e9e record en 2018, la Fondation Suisse pour le Climat veut attribuer encore plus de subventions cette ann\u00e9e. \"Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 nos entreprises partenaires, nous sommes bien financ\u00e9s\", explique Eckert. \"Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 leur engagement, nous pouvons continuer \u00e0 faire en sorte que des id\u00e9es innovantes pour la protection du climat deviennent r\u00e9alit\u00e9\".<\/p>\n

Selon cette devise, la Fondation Suisse pour le Climat soutient des projets de petites et moyennes entreprises (PME) qui contribuent \u00e0 la protection du climat. Depuis sa cr\u00e9ation en 2008, la fondation a accord\u00e9 des aides \u00e0 hauteur de 20 millions de francs \u00e0 plus de 1 400 PME en Suisse et dans la Principaut\u00e9 du Liechtenstein.<\/em><\/p>\n

La Fondation Suisse pour le Climat a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e en tant que fondation ind\u00e9pendante d'utilit\u00e9 publique. Elle est plac\u00e9e sous la surveillance de la Conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration et est ouverte aux entreprises int\u00e9ress\u00e9es qui souhaitent renforcer la protection du climat par une utilisation efficace et cibl\u00e9e de la redistribution issue de la taxe d'incitation sur le CO2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Depuis janvier 2008, la loi sur le CO2 impose une taxe sur les combustibles. Une partie de la taxe est revers\u00e9e \u00e0 l'\u00e9conomie. Ce sont surtout les grandes entreprises de services qui re\u00e7oivent en retour plus que ce qu'elles ont pay\u00e9. Les entreprises partenaires de la Fondation Suisse pour le Climat utilisent cette \"ristourne nette\" pour financer les mesures de protection du climat des PME suisses et liechtensteinoises.<\/em><\/p>\n
