Habel\/ TUM).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Environ 33 500 esp\u00e8ces d'insectes sont indig\u00e8nes en Allemagne, mais leur nombre ne cesse de diminuer en raison de l'agriculture intensive \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle. Sur les 189 esp\u00e8ces de papillons diurnes actuellement pr\u00e9sentes en Allemagne, 99 figurent sur la liste rouge, cinq sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9teintes et 12 autres sont menac\u00e9es d'extinction.<\/p>\n<p>En Suisse, la situation n'est pas tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rente en ce qui concerne l'impact de l'agriculture intensive sur les insectes. Le professeur Jan Christian Habel, de la chaire d'\u00e9cologie terrestre de l'Universit\u00e9 technique de Munich, et le professeur Thomas Schmitt, directeur de l'Institut entomologique allemand Senckenberg \u00e0 M\u00fcncheberg, dans le Brandebourg, ont examin\u00e9 dans leurs \u00e9quipes comment l'intensit\u00e9 de l'exploitation agricole se r\u00e9percute concr\u00e8tement sur la faune des papillons diurnes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>R\u00e9duction de la biodiversit\u00e9 autour des champs pulv\u00e9ris\u00e9s<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dans ce but, les chercheurs ont recens\u00e9 la pr\u00e9sence d'esp\u00e8ces de papillons diurnes sur 21 surfaces de prairie \u00e0 l'est de Munich. Dix-sept de ces sites se trouvent au milieu de surfaces agricoles, quatre dans des r\u00e9serves naturelles g\u00e9r\u00e9es de mani\u00e8re proche de la nature. Au total, les entomologistes ont recens\u00e9 24 esp\u00e8ces de papillons diurnes et 864 individus sur l'ensemble des surfaces.<\/p>\n<p>\"Nous avons trouv\u00e9 en moyenne 2,7 esp\u00e8ces de papillons diurnes par visite sur les prairies situ\u00e9es \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur des champs agricoles, et 6,6 esp\u00e8ces en moyenne sur les quatre zones \u00e9tudi\u00e9es \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur des deux zones prot\u00e9g\u00e9es \"Dietersheimer Brenne\" et \"Garchinger Heide\"\", ajoute le professeur Werner Ulrich de l'universit\u00e9 Copernicus de Thorn, en Pologne.<\/p>\n<p>Les sp\u00e9cialistes parmi les papillons, qui d\u00e9pendent des aires proches de l'\u00e9tat naturel, ont particuli\u00e8rement souffert des nouvelles conditions. Le groupe a \u00e9galement trouv\u00e9 des animaux plus adaptables sur les autres parcelles de prairie.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les effets n\u00e9gatifs de l'agriculture industrialis\u00e9e exigent un changement de mentalit\u00e9<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\"Nos r\u00e9sultats montrent une tendance claire : \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 des champs cultiv\u00e9s intensivement et r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement pulv\u00e9ris\u00e9s, la diversit\u00e9 des papillons diurnes et leur nombre sont nettement plus faibles que dans les prairies situ\u00e9es \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de surfaces peu ou pas exploit\u00e9es\", d\u00e9clare le premier auteur de l'\u00e9tude, le Dr Jan Christian Habel.<\/p>\n<p>\"Notre \u00e9tude souligne l'impact n\u00e9gatif de l'agriculture conventionnelle industrialis\u00e9e sur la diversit\u00e9 des papillons de jour et montre qu'il est urgent d'adopter des m\u00e9thodes de culture plus respectueuses de l'environnement.
