(Photo : SBB\/CFF\/FFS)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Pour garantir une exploitation ferroviaire s\u00fbre, les CFF doivent contr\u00f4ler et r\u00e9guler en permanence la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation sur plus de 7600 kilom\u00e8tres de lignes. Pour ce faire, ils utilisent notamment le d\u00e9sherbant glyphosate. A ce jour, cet herbicide est la seule substance active autoris\u00e9e en Suisse pour lutter contre la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 des installations ferroviaires.<\/p>\n<h3>Des solutions in\u00e9dites \u00e0 l'essai<\/h3>\n<p>En collaboration avec des sp\u00e9cialistes externes, diff\u00e9rentes solutions in\u00e9dites de contr\u00f4le de la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation sont test\u00e9es depuis 2018. Il est d'ores et d\u00e9j\u00e0 clair qu'en raison de la diversit\u00e9 des conditions naturelles et architecturales le long des voies ferr\u00e9es, il n'y aura pas qu'une seule solution \u00e0 mettre en \u0153uvre.<\/p>\n<p>L'utilisation d'un v\u00e9hicule d'arrosage \u00e0 l'eau chaude est une m\u00e9thode possible pour lutter contre les mauvaises herbes sur les voies ferr\u00e9es. Ces derniers mois, les CFF ont sp\u00e9cialement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 un v\u00e9hicule d'essai qui dispose d'une fonction de reconnaissance des plantes et qui est utilis\u00e9 pour d\u00e9truire la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation ind\u00e9sirable.<\/p>\n<p>Les CFF vont \u00e9tablir un \u00e9cobilan pour les diff\u00e9rentes m\u00e9thodes de contr\u00f4le de la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation actuellement test\u00e9es. Ainsi, il est garanti que les nouvelles m\u00e9thodes sont plus respectueuses de l'environnement que le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 jusqu'\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent.
