(Image : www.pexels.com)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Le 17 f\u00e9vrier est l'Equal Pay Day en Suisse. Cette journ\u00e9e d'action vise \u00e0 rendre symboliquement visible l'\u00e9cart salarial entre les femmes et les hommes. Jusqu'\u00e0 cette date, les femmes ont math\u00e9matiquement travaill\u00e9 gratuitement en Suisse, alors que les hommes sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 pay\u00e9s depuis le 1er janvier.<\/p>\n<p>Le r\u00e9seau d'emploi Xing a interrog\u00e9 500 employ\u00e9s en Suisse al\u00e9manique, notamment sur le th\u00e8me du salaire, et a constat\u00e9 les diff\u00e9rences suivantes entre les sexes :<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Les femmes trouvent plus souvent leur r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration trop basse<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Pour les femmes comme pour les hommes, un salaire plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 est le crit\u00e8re le plus important lors du choix d'un nouvel employeur. Avec 62 pour cent, les femmes ont m\u00eame tendance \u00e0 accorder un peu plus d'importance \u00e0 ce point que les hommes (55 pour cent). Parall\u00e8lement, les femmes sont plus nombreuses (46 %) \u00e0 avoir le sentiment que leur salaire est trop bas par rapport \u00e0 leur travail. Chez les hommes, ce chiffre est de 37 pour cent.<\/p>\n<p>Parmi les femmes qui estiment que leur salaire est trop bas, 60% seraient pr\u00eates \u00e0 changer d'employeur pour cette raison. La proportion est \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s la m\u00eame chez les hommes.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Diff\u00e9rentes raisons pour les revendications salariales <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>On constate \u00e9galement des diff\u00e9rences entre les sexes en ce qui concerne les raisons pour lesquelles les travailleurs demandent une augmentation de salaire. 26 pour cent des hommes se basent sur le fait que leur salaire actuel est inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 la valeur du march\u00e9. Chez les femmes, elles ne sont que 16 pour cent \u00e0 prendre un salaire inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 la valeur du march\u00e9 comme motif de n\u00e9gociation salariale. 9 % des femmes interrog\u00e9es d\u00e9clarent demander chaque ann\u00e9e une augmentation de salaire. Chez les hommes, ce pourcentage a tendance \u00e0 \u00eatre un peu plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 (13 %).<\/p>\n<p>\"Les femmes ne gagnent pas moins parce que le salaire serait moins important pour elles. Et elles changeraient tout aussi souvent de travail que les hommes en raison d'un salaire trop bas\", explique Sandra Bascha, responsable de la communication de Xing pour la Suisse. \"Mais les femmes salari\u00e9es ont plus de mal que les hommes \u00e0 lier la revendication d'un meilleur salaire \u00e0 leur propre valeur sur le march\u00e9.
