Il n'y a jamais eu autant d'entreprises actives dans le secteur FinTech suisse. Il y avait 483 entreprises au total fin 2023. C'est environ onze pour cent de plus que l'ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente. Par rapport \u00e0 2015, la taille du secteur a m\u00eame tripl\u00e9, comme le montre la derni\u00e8re \u00e9tude FinTech de la Haute \u00e9cole de Lucerne (HSLU). Pour la premi\u00e8re fois, l'\u00e9tude a \u00e9galement pris en compte le Liechtenstein : 22 entreprises FinTech sont domicili\u00e9es dans la principaut\u00e9.<\/p>\n

La croissance a \u00e9t\u00e9 particuli\u00e8rement importante pour les entreprises FinTech qui mettent strat\u00e9giquement l'accent sur la durabilit\u00e9. Elles repr\u00e9sentent environ dix pour cent de toutes les FinTech suisses. Leur nombre a augment\u00e9 d'environ 50 pour cent en 2023. \"La croissance des entreprises 'Sustainable FinTech' est plus forte que celle des autres entreprises FinTech\", explique le professeur Thomas Ankenbrand, responsable de l'\u00e9tude. Selon lui, l'int\u00e9r\u00eat des investisseurs pour les possibilit\u00e9s d'investissement durable est \u00e9lev\u00e9. Selon le professeur de la HSLU, l'obligation faite aux banques de demander aux investisseurs priv\u00e9s leurs pr\u00e9f\u00e9rences en mati\u00e8re de durabilit\u00e9 favorise encore cette croissance.<\/p>\n

Attrait de la place \u00e9conomique : la Suisse re\u00e7oit plus de concurrence <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Selon Ankenbrand, il y aurait toutefois aussi des tendances au refroidissement : Stockholm a d\u00e9pass\u00e9 Zurich et Gen\u00e8ve dans le classement des sites les plus attractifs pour les entreprises FinTech et les a \u00e9vinc\u00e9es des deuxi\u00e8me et troisi\u00e8me places. En outre, d'autres villes, comme Amsterdam, les ont rejointes. Zurich et Gen\u00e8ve ont donc perdu en comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 relative. Le responsable de l'\u00e9tude classe : \"Les classements en troisi\u00e8me et quatri\u00e8me position prouvent que les conditions-cadres pour les FinTech en Suisse restent bonnes\". Mais l'\u00e9valuation effectu\u00e9e dans l'\u00e9tude montrerait \u00e9galement que les sites FinTech internationaux de premier plan se sont rapproch\u00e9s de l'attractivit\u00e9 de la Suisse l'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re. C'est toujours Singapour qui arrive en t\u00eate du classement, avec une large avance.<\/p>\n

Baisse de l'activit\u00e9 de financement <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Les activit\u00e9s de capital-risque sont un autre indice d'une tendance au ralentissement. Le financement des entreprises FinTech a diminu\u00e9 en 2023, tant en volume qu'en nombre de transactions. Au total, 457 millions de francs suisses ont \u00e9t\u00e9 inject\u00e9s dans le secteur FinTech suisse au cours de 68 tours de financement. L'ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente, ce chiffre \u00e9tait de 605 millions de francs suisses pour 84 tours de financement. Le volume de financement a donc diminu\u00e9 d'environ un quart. Selon le responsable de l'\u00e9tude, on ne pourra toutefois dire que dans les prochaines ann\u00e9es si ce recul est un ralentissement structurel ou s'il est d\u00fb \u00e0 un effet temporaire des taux d'int\u00e9r\u00eat.<\/p>\n

IA : un grand potentiel pour le secteur FinTech <\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"Bien que les FinTech soient pass\u00e9es d'un march\u00e9 de niche \u00e0 un fournisseur important d'innovations pour les prestataires de services financiers traditionnels, leur potentiel d'optimisation de la cha\u00eene de valeur financi\u00e8re n'est pas encore \u00e9puis\u00e9\", explique Ankenbrand. Des solutions pour l'int\u00e9gration sans faille de services financiers dans diff\u00e9rents domaines d'application (\"Embedded Finance\") ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mises en \u0153uvre de mani\u00e8re isol\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Le professeur de la HSLU voit un grand potentiel pour le secteur financier dans le domaine de l'intelligence artificielle. Une adaptation dynamique aux nouveaux d\u00e9veloppements technologiques apporterait des avantages \u00e0 la Suisse et au secteur FinTech local.<\/p>\n
