Vizcab, une spin-off du site de Fribourg de l'\u00c9cole polytechnique f\u00e9d\u00e9rale de Lausanne (EPFL Fribourg<\/a>), a pu, selon une\u00a0Communiqu\u00e9 de presse<\/a>\u00a0a lev\u00e9 1,6 million d'euros de capital-risque. La start-up, bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Lyon en France, a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 une nouvelle m\u00e9thode permettant aux ing\u00e9nieurs d'\u00e9valuer l'efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique d'un b\u00e2timent d\u00e8s la phase de conception. Avec cette injection de capital, Vizcab veut d'abord s'implanter en France. D'ici 18 \u00e0 24 mois, la jeune entreprise pr\u00e9voit un tour de financement de s\u00e9rie B pour s'\u00e9tendre.<\/p>\n

\"Notre start-up travaille \u00e0 l'interface entre le tournant num\u00e9rique et le tournant \u00e9cologique\", explique le fondateur et chef de l'innovation Thomas Jusselme. Son mod\u00e8le bas\u00e9 sur des donn\u00e9es peut int\u00e9grer des objectifs d'\u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre d\u00e8s les premi\u00e8res phases du processus de conception. Jusqu'\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, le calcul de l'impact environnemental d'un b\u00e2timent n'\u00e9tait possible qu'une fois les d\u00e9cisions de conception grav\u00e9es dans la pierre.<\/p>\n

Les architectes et les ing\u00e9nieurs peuvent introduire diff\u00e9rentes possibilit\u00e9s de construction dans une application Internet d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e par Vizcab. Celle-ci effectue des milliers de simulations sur la base de diff\u00e9rents param\u00e8tres de conception tels que le chauffage, le vitrage et l'isolation.<\/p>\n

Cette m\u00e9thode a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e par\u00a0B\u00e2timent 2050<\/a>\u00a0une \u00e9quipe qui a travaill\u00e9 dans le\u00a0Laboratoire Smart Living<\/a>\u00a0de l'EPFL Fribourg. Le premier prototype a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 en collaboration avec deux laboratoires de l'EPFL, le Laboratoire de performance int\u00e9gr\u00e9e en design (LIPID<\/a>) et le Laboratoire d'architecture et de technologies durables (LAST<\/a>), a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9. En outre, le laboratoire\u00a0EPFL+ECAL<\/a>\u00a0et le\u00a0Institut Human-IST<\/a>\u00a0de l'Universit\u00e9 de Fribourg (UNIFR<\/a>).<\/p>\n
