Les d\u00e9chets chimiques industriels repr\u00e9sentent un d\u00e9fi mondial. Les m\u00e9thodes d'\u00e9limination traditionnelles telles que l'incin\u00e9ration entra\u00eenent des co\u00fbts \u00e9lev\u00e9s et des \u00e9missions de CO2. De plus, les approches biologiques existantes sont souvent limit\u00e9es en termes d'\u00e9volutivit\u00e9 et d'efficacit\u00e9, ce qui met en \u00e9vidence le besoin urgent d'am\u00e9liorer les solutions de gestion des d\u00e9chets.<\/p>\n

La spin-off de l'ETH CellX Biosolutions lutte contre la pollution chimique gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des produits de d\u00e9gradation bact\u00e9riens performants. Ceux-ci permettent une d\u00e9gradation des polluants industriels sans \u00e9mission de CO2. \u00c0 l'aide d'un outil microfluidique, CellX identifie des bact\u00e9ries uniques \u00e0 haut pouvoir de d\u00e9gradation, capables de d\u00e9grader des produits chimiques nocifs tels que les PFAS et les produits pharmaceutiques, m\u00eame dans des environnements isol\u00e9s. Cette approche durable offre une alternative \u00e9cologique aux m\u00e9thodes traditionnelles d'\u00e9limination des d\u00e9chets.<\/p>\n

CellX pr\u00e9voit de servir un march\u00e9 de plus d'un milliard de dollars US<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Le march\u00e9 du traitement des d\u00e9chets chimiques dangereux devrait atteindre 48 milliards de dollars d'ici 2027, en raison du renforcement des r\u00e9glementations environnementales et de la demande croissante de solutions durables. CellX Biosolutions a un grand potentiel dans ce domaine avec ses produits pour les polluants hautement prioritaires. L'entreprise a d\u00e9j\u00e0 de solides contacts avec des clients en phase de d\u00e9marrage et pr\u00e9voit de servir un march\u00e9 de plus d'un milliard de dollars, dont de grands fabricants de PFAS et des entreprises pharmaceutiques \u00e0 la recherche de solutions de gestion des d\u00e9chets respectueuses de l'environnement.<\/p>\n

CellX utilisera les CHF 150'000 de Venture Kick pour acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer le d\u00e9veloppement de ses activit\u00e9s et de ses produits et contribuera ainsi \u00e0 son tour de pr\u00e9-amor\u00e7age de CHF 1,2 million. Celui-ci devrait se terminer au premier trimestre 2025.<\/p>\n
