Le climat des affaires dans la branche MEM s'est encore refroidi \u00e0 l'automne, comme le montre la derni\u00e8re enqu\u00eate trimestrielle de Swissmechanic. En octobre 2024, l'indice du climat des affaires PME-MEM de Swissmechanic a gliss\u00e9 vers sa valeur la plus basse depuis janvier 2021. Cela fait maintenant un an et demi que le pulsom\u00e8tre des PME-MEM se situe dans la zone n\u00e9gative. Seul 1 pour cent des entreprises qualifie le climat actuel des affaires de tr\u00e8s favorable. A l'oppos\u00e9, 74 pour cent le jugent plut\u00f4t d\u00e9favorable \u00e0 tr\u00e8s d\u00e9favorable.<\/p>\n

R\u00e9duction du personnel dans une PME-MEM sur trois<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Le manque de commandes reste \u00e9galement le plus grand d\u00e9fi, suivi par les charges persistantes dues au franc fort. Au total, 60 pour cent des PME ont enregistr\u00e9 une baisse de leur chiffre d'affaires au troisi\u00e8me trimestre 2024 et presque autant ont vu leurs marges diminuer. Le taux d'utilisation des capacit\u00e9s des entreprises est actuellement \u00e0 peine sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 80 %. A cela s'ajoute le fait que pour pr\u00e8s d'un tiers des PME interrog\u00e9es, la production n'est plus assur\u00e9e que pour une p\u00e9riode maximale de quatre semaines. Un tiers des entreprises a d\u00fb r\u00e9duire ses effectifs par rapport \u00e0 l'ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente. Un quart d'entre elles manquent de fonds propres pour investir.<\/p>\n

2024 reste difficile, 2025 laisse un espoir prudent<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Les PME se montrent donc pessimistes pour le dernier trimestre 2024. La demande \u00e9trang\u00e8re reste le grand d\u00e9fi. Environ la moiti\u00e9 des entreprises interrog\u00e9es s'attendent \u00e0 de nouveaux reculs des commandes, des chiffres d'affaires et des marges. Malgr\u00e9 les d\u00e9fis actuels, il existe, selon les experts, des signes d'une possible reprise conjoncturelle pour 2025. La baisse des prix de l'\u00e9nergie et des taux d'int\u00e9r\u00eat pourrait donner des impulsions \u00e0 la branche MEM l'ann\u00e9e prochaine et permettre au moins une l\u00e9g\u00e8re reprise.<\/p>\n
