Le projet commun \"Chocolat durable d'\u00c9quateur\" de Coop et de sa filiale Chocolats Halba poursuit des objectifs \u00e9conomiques, \u00e9cologiques et sociaux : entre autres, l'am\u00e9lioration du niveau de vie, de la biodiversit\u00e9 ainsi que l'int\u00e9gration et la promotion des jeunes agriculteurs. Le projet s'inspire du principe \"Train the Trainer\". Les producteurs de cacao d'Ecouador (en particulier les femmes et les jeunes) sont form\u00e9s aux m\u00e9thodes de l'agroforesterie dynamique. En tant que \"facilitadores\", ils transmettent leurs connaissances et deviennent des ambassadeurs de la culture durable du cacao. Ils posent ainsi la premi\u00e8re pierre d'un syst\u00e8me de subsistance durable pour les petits paysans \u00e9quatoriens.<\/p>\n

Le 26 avril 2018, le Swiss Excellence Forum a d\u00e9cern\u00e9 le Swiss Ethics Award \u00e0 ce projet d'envergure dans le cadre de la conf\u00e9rence Ethical Leadership au KKL de Lucerne. La Clinica Luganese Moncucco, Ikea et Swisscom \u00e9taient \u00e9galement nomin\u00e9s, chacun avec son propre projet pour des normes \u00e9thiques plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es dans l'\u00e9conomie. Le projet gagnant a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9compens\u00e9, entre autres, pour l'accent mis sur la production durable de cacao et la prise en compte de toute une s\u00e9rie de probl\u00e8mes profonds tels que la pauvret\u00e9, les petites surfaces cultiv\u00e9es, les faibles prix du march\u00e9, les mauvaises infrastructures et le manque de connaissances, qui sont autant de difficult\u00e9s pour les petits producteurs \u00e9quatoriens. En abordant ces probl\u00e8mes de mani\u00e8re proactive, Chocolats Halba compte aujourd'hui parmi les pionniers de la durabilit\u00e9 dans le secteur du chocolat en Suisse.<\/p>\n
