(Image : zVg).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Les chiffres pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s r\u00e9cemment par Data Migration Services AG lors d'une conf\u00e9rence de presse sont impressionnants : au cours des derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, l'entreprise a pu augmenter \u00e0 plusieurs reprises son chiffre d'affaires d'un pourcentage \u00e0 deux chiffres. Rien qu'en 2017, la croissance a \u00e9t\u00e9 d'environ 40 pour cent. L'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, le logiciel JiVS a permis de r\u00e9aliser un chiffre d'affaires de 25 millions de francs, directement ou par l'interm\u00e9diaire de partenaires. En 2017, par exemple, l'un des plus grands groupes de mat\u00e9riaux \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques et Lafarge Holcim ont opt\u00e9 pour JiVS. Le g\u00e9ant des mat\u00e9riaux de construction va ainsi historiser des dizaines d'anciens syst\u00e8mes. Mais l'un des 20 plus grands groupes mondiaux des \u00c9tats-Unis est \u00e9galement un client \u00e9minent de l'\u00e9diteur de logiciels de Kreuzlingen. Le conglom\u00e9rat utilise JiVS depuis 2017 pour tous ses secteurs d'activit\u00e9. Mais Data Migration Services n'a pas encore atteint sa vitesse de croisi\u00e8re. D'ici 2030, le fondateur et propri\u00e9taire Thomas Failer table sur un potentiel d'au moins deux milliards de francs. Avec l'objectif de devenir le leader mondial de l'historisation des anciens syst\u00e8mes et des solutions compl\u00e9mentaires, Failer est revenu dans l'entreprise le 1er mai 2018. Afin de capter au maximum ce potentiel, le r\u00e9seau mondial de partenaires existant doit \u00eatre d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 \u00e0 toute vitesse. Failer : \"Pour l'avenir, les clients voient jusqu'\u00e0 80 pour cent de potentiel d'\u00e9conomie pour l'exploitation informatique dans l'historisation des anciens syst\u00e8mes. C'est pourquoi cette discipline doit \u00e9galement faire partie int\u00e9grante des strat\u00e9gies de migration et \u00eatre le moyen de choix pour mettre \u00e0 disposition les ressources qui font souvent d\u00e9faut pour les investissements urgents dans des mod\u00e8les commerciaux innovants\".<\/p>\n<h2><strong>D\u00e9fis de la protection des donn\u00e9es<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Les raisons pour lesquelles les \u00e9tudes de march\u00e9 voient dans l'activit\u00e9 principale de JiVS un potentiel aussi important pour les entreprises sont extr\u00eamement pragmatiques : Capgemini affirme par exemple que la moiti\u00e9 des plus grandes entreprises pourraient mettre hors service 50 pour cent de leurs syst\u00e8mes logiciels. Mais comme il est par exemple impossible de satisfaire aux exigences de la l\u00e9gislation sur la protection des donn\u00e9es sans les fonctionnalit\u00e9s d'historisation comme celle de JiVS, le sujet a \u00e9t\u00e9 plut\u00f4t n\u00e9glig\u00e9 par le pass\u00e9. D\u00e9sormais, dans le contexte du nouveau r\u00e8glement europ\u00e9en sur la protection des donn\u00e9es, l'attention port\u00e9e \u00e0 ce sujet devrait augmenter. En effet, les entreprises doivent pouvoir fournir sur demande des informations sur les donn\u00e9es personnelles, m\u00eame si celles-ci sont stock\u00e9es dans d'anciennes bases de donn\u00e9es qui n'ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 migr\u00e9es vers de nouvelles applications. La solution logicielle JiVS garantit que l'acc\u00e8s aux \"anciennes\" donn\u00e9es reste n\u00e9anmoins possible ; il est toujours possible de retracer la cr\u00e9ation des donn\u00e9es et leur traitement ult\u00e9rieur tout au long de la cha\u00eene de cr\u00e9ation de valeur. C'est \u00e9galement important, par exemple, dans le domaine des projets et de la construction d'installations, o\u00f9 les dur\u00e9es sont souvent longues. Ainsi, lors de la modernisation d'une centrale \u00e9lectrique, il est extr\u00eamement important de savoir exactement quelles pi\u00e8ces ou quels mat\u00e9riaux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9s \u00e0 l'origine, afin d'\u00e9viter les erreurs et les retards dans la planification et surtout dans l'ex\u00e9cution. Les diff\u00e9rentes vues peuvent \u00eatre juxtapos\u00e9es dans l'interface JiVS, ce qui permet par exemple \u00e0 un utilisateur sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 de suivre d'un coup d'\u0153il le flux des mat\u00e9riaux, de la commande \u00e0 la livraison et au montage.<\/p>\n<h2>Migration vers SAP S\/4 Hana<\/h2>\n<p>A cela s'ajoutent les cons\u00e9quences de la migration vers le nouveau monde SAP pour les entreprises qui ne mettent pas syst\u00e9matiquement leurs anciens syst\u00e8mes \u00e0 la retraite. En effet, au plus tard en 2025, de nombreuses entreprises seront confront\u00e9es \u00e0 une politique de base de donn\u00e9es propri\u00e9taire dont les co\u00fbts ne se justifient plus, avec la migration in\u00e9vitable vers S4\/Hana. Entre-temps, un changement de mentalit\u00e9 s'est donc op\u00e9r\u00e9, explique Failer : \"Les clients, les partenaires et les \u00e9tudes de march\u00e9 estiment que le besoin de consolidation et d'historisation des syst\u00e8mes logiciels est plus urgent que jamais\". Outre la conformit\u00e9 en mati\u00e8re de protection des donn\u00e9es et SAP S\/4 Hana, les m\u00e9gatendances telles que le cloud computing ou les nouveaux mod\u00e8les commerciaux num\u00e9riques seraient \u00e9galement les moteurs. \"Les processus et les syst\u00e8mes changent, mais les donn\u00e9es doivent rester disponibles. Nous allons profiter de ces d\u00e9fis des entreprises pour \u00e9tendre avec JiVS notre position de leader sur le march\u00e9 de l'historisation des anciens syst\u00e8mes\".<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Gartner consid\u00e8re JiVS comme \"id\u00e9al\" pour le d\u00e9classement des syst\u00e8mes logiciels<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La croissance de Data Migration Services est \u00e9galement surprenante au vu de son organisation. L'entreprise, qui emploie 20 personnes, a une structure tr\u00e8s l\u00e9g\u00e8re. M\u00eame pour de grands groupes internationaux, les ventes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9es pour ainsi dire par correspondance, comme le raconte Thomas Failer. Alors que d'autres entreprises disposent d'un vaste r\u00e9seau de distribution pour leurs activit\u00e9s mondiales, Data Migration Systems peut s'appuyer sur des partenaires de renom, en particulier les int\u00e9grateurs de syst\u00e8mes de SAP. Cela explique aussi l'\u00e9norme potentiel. Mais JiVS permet \u00e9galement aux utilisateurs d'autres solutions ERP qui arrivent en fin de cycle de vie d'archiver leurs anciennes donn\u00e9es \u00e0 un co\u00fbt raisonnable et de les pr\u00e9parer pour la nouvelle solution.
