La demande en ing\u00e9nieurs continue d'augmenter, comme le montre le Swiss Engineering Index\u00a9. Le d\u00e9placement du secteur industriel vers le secteur tertiaire (donc la d\u00e9sindustrialisation) se poursuit. (Graphique : Swiss Engineering UTS)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

La d\u00e9sindustrialisation progressive de la Suisse se traduit par le fait que, malgr\u00e9 une tr\u00e8s bonne situation \u00e9conomique, la Suisse perd chaque ann\u00e9e depuis six ans l'\u00e9quivalent de 4000 emplois \u00e0 temps plein dans le secteur industriel. En 1991, le secteur industriel offrait 35% de tous les emplois, aujourd'hui, il n'en offre plus que 25%. Depuis lors, 230 000 emplois ont disparu dans l'industrie. Actuellement, selon le SECO, plus de 57 professions de l'industrie suisse affichent un taux de ch\u00f4mage sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 8%.<\/p>\n

La d\u00e9sindustrialisation se manifeste sur le march\u00e9 du travail<\/h2>\n

Malgr\u00e9 cela, la demande en ing\u00e9nieurs continue d'augmenter, comme le montre le Swiss Engineering Index\u00a9. L'activit\u00e9 de recrutement pour les postes d'ing\u00e9nieurs dans les branches des services continue de progresser, contrairement \u00e0 l'industrie. Le d\u00e9placement de leurs emplois du secteur industriel vers le secteur des services se poursuit toutefois. En relation avec cela, la Suisse a \u00e9t\u00e9 class\u00e9e pour la septi\u00e8me fois comme pays le plus innovant dans le Global Innovation Index (Cornell University, INSEAD, WIPO). N\u00e9anmoins, selon le WEF The Global Competitiveness Report 2018, le pays a recul\u00e9 de la premi\u00e8re \u00e0 la cinqui\u00e8me place du classement des nations les plus comp\u00e9titives.<\/p>\n

Grave p\u00e9nurie de main-d'\u0153uvre qualifi\u00e9e<\/h2>\n

La p\u00e9nurie de personnel qualifi\u00e9 est particuli\u00e8rement grave dans les m\u00e9tiers de l'ing\u00e9nierie, comme l'a expliqu\u00e9 en d\u00e9tail une \u00e9tude de Swiss Engineering et d'economiesuisse publi\u00e9e le 8 mai 2017. Cette situation est attribu\u00e9e d'une part \u00e0 un nombre trop faible d'ing\u00e9nieurs form\u00e9s en Suisse et d'autre part \u00e0 l'\u00e9volution rapide des exigences en mati\u00e8re de savoir-faire en ing\u00e9nierie, ce qui peut entra\u00eener un d\u00e9calage entre les profils recherch\u00e9s et les profils existants. Alors qu'il y a parfois eu un exc\u00e9dent dans l'industrie, la p\u00e9nurie de personnel qualifi\u00e9 pour les ing\u00e9nieurs s'aggrave dans le secteur des services.<\/p>\n

Indice suisse d'ing\u00e9nierie<\/h2>\n

Le Swiss Engineering Index\u00a9 est publi\u00e9 par Swiss Engineering UTS en collaboration avec dynajobs AG \u00e0 un rythme semestriel, compl\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 chaque fois par un focus sur les d\u00e9veloppements actuellement int\u00e9ressants sur le march\u00e9 du travail des ing\u00e9nieurs. Avec environ 13 000 membres, Swiss Engineering est le r\u00e9seau professionnel d\u00e9terminant des ing\u00e9nieurs et des architectes dans toute la Suisse.<\/p>\n
