(Image : UPSA)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Des gouttes de sueur sur le front \u00e9taient garanties - et pour une fois, ce n'\u00e9tait pas \u00e0 cause du chaud temps estival du 5 juillet 2025 \u00e0 Berne : 36 jeunes talents de la branche automobile avaient un grand objectif ce samedi-l\u00e0. Dans la Mobilcity de Berne, les m\u00e9catroniciens d'automobiles \u00e2g\u00e9s de 19 \u00e0 21 ans, sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s dans les voitures particuli\u00e8res et les v\u00e9hicules utilitaires, se sont disput\u00e9s les 20 places de d\u00e9part aux championnats nationaux des m\u00e9tiers SwissSkills. Quatre postes de 20 minutes chacun au maximum devaient \u00eatre effectu\u00e9s lors de la qualification. Et ce, sous l'\u0153il attentif des 14 experts, dont la plupart avaient eux-m\u00eames de l'exp\u00e9rience en mati\u00e8re de comp\u00e9tition. Sophie Schumacher (m\u00e9daille d'or aux WorldSkills 2024) ou Nevio Bernet (m\u00e9daille d'argent aux WorldSkills 2024) \u00e9taient notamment de la partie.<\/p>\n<h3>Qualification volontairement difficile<\/h3>\n<p>Les postes de qualification \u00e9taient volontairement exigeants afin de d\u00e9signer les meilleurs de la branche. Il fallait par exemple convaincre un v\u00e9hicule en panne pr\u00e9sentant plusieurs d\u00e9fauts de d\u00e9marrer, mesurer une pi\u00e8ce de moteur ou retirer un taraud cass\u00e9 dans le filetage. Le tout sous une forte pression temporelle, avec les bons outils et appareils de diagnostic, la meilleure proc\u00e9dure et la meilleure technique - et si possible avec succ\u00e8s. Mais le jeu en valait la chandelle : les 20 meilleurs participants ont r\u00e9alis\u00e9 leur r\u00eave de participer aux SwissSkills.<\/p>\n<h3>La branche automobile est attractive<\/h3>\n<p>Pour la branche automobile suisse et l'UPSA, son association, les concours tels que la qualification pour les SwissSkills sont une vitrine du succ\u00e8s de la formation et de la formation continue. Ceux qui sont pass\u00e9s par l\u00e0 ont pu s'en convaincre : la branche automobile suisse ne manque pas de talent. Et pas non plus d'ambitions : Au d\u00e9part, 56 m\u00e9catroniciens d'automobiles sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s dans les voitures de tourisme et les v\u00e9hicules utilitaires avaient pos\u00e9 leur candidature, si bien que des crit\u00e8res tels que la moyenne des notes (minimum 5,0) ont d\u00fb \u00eatre pris en compte pour r\u00e9duire le nombre \u00e0 36. \"Ce nombre \u00e9lev\u00e9 prouve \u00e0 quel point les m\u00e9tiers de l'automobile sont attrayants pour les jeunes\", d\u00e9clare Olivier Maeder, directeur de l'UPSA pour le secteur de la formation : \"Nous sommes tr\u00e8s fiers de ces jeunes : C'est \u00e0 l'aune de la qualification que se mesurent les meilleurs. En tant qu'\u00e9quipe des m\u00e9tiers de l'automobile, nous sommes heureux de pouvoir y contribuer\". Et Maeder de souligner avec satisfaction : \"Les 20 qualifi\u00e9s de toutes les r\u00e9gions du pays repr\u00e9sentent toute la Suisse\".<\/p>\n<h3>Prochain arr\u00eat : SwissSkills<\/h3>\n<p>Autre \u00e9l\u00e9ment typique de la branche automobile : l'ambiance conviviale qui a r\u00e9gn\u00e9 tout au long de la journ\u00e9e de qualification, malgr\u00e9 la tension de la comp\u00e9tition, a \u00e9t\u00e9 remarquablement bonne. Au final, il n'y a eu que des gagnants. Et pour les 20 m\u00e9catroniciens d'automobiles qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 retenus, il s'agit maintenant de se pr\u00e9parer aux SwissSkills, qui auront lieu du 17 au 21 septembre 2025 \u00e0 BernExpo et qui vaudront \u00e0 coup s\u00fbr le d\u00e9tour.
