L'importation en Suisse de carburants d'aviation contenant une part biog\u00e8ne et leur ravitaillement dans les a\u00e9roports suisses est possible depuis le 1er juillet 2021 en raison de nouvelles dispositions douani\u00e8res.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Carburant issu de d\u00e9chets et de mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res r\u00e9siduelles<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Selon la compagnie a\u00e9rienne, la premi\u00e8re livraison comprend plus de 460 tonnes de SAF pur. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des avions modernes comme la famille Airbus A32Xneo, cette quantit\u00e9 de carburant permet d'effectuer environ 175 vols. Le ravitaillement en SAF \u00e0 l'a\u00e9roport de Zurich s'effectue par le biais du syst\u00e8me r\u00e9gulier d'hydrants de l'a\u00e9roport. Le m\u00e9lange de Neste est certifi\u00e9 Jet A-1 et peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 pour tous les types d'avions, comme le k\u00e9ros\u00e8ne fossile, sans qu'il soit n\u00e9cessaire d'adapter l'avion ou les moteurs.<\/p>\n<p>Selon les indications, le carburant SAF est produit \u00e0 partir de d\u00e9chets et de mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res r\u00e9siduelles renouvelables et obtenues de mani\u00e8re durable. Sous sa forme pure et sur l'ensemble de son cycle de vie, son utilisation peut r\u00e9duire jusqu'\u00e0 80 pour cent des \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre par rapport au carburant fossile, \u00e9crit Swiss. L'organisation ind\u00e9pendante Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB) a certifi\u00e9 la production comme durable en avril de cette ann\u00e9e. Neste a une longue exp\u00e9rience dans la production de biocarburants et collabore avec succ\u00e8s depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es avec le groupe Lufthansa.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Les passagers peuvent encourager l'utilisation de SAF<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>L'importation initiale de SAF serait \u00e9galement due \u00e0 l'engagement des passagers de Swiss via la plateforme Compensaid (<a href=\"\/\/swiss.compensaid.com\/de\/\">swiss.compensaid.com<\/a>). Depuis 2019, les clients ont la possibilit\u00e9 d'acheter du carburant durable lors du processus de r\u00e9servation via Compensaid, afin de r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de CO<sub>2<\/sub>-de leur voyage en avion.<\/p>\n<p>Dieter Vranckx, CEO de Swiss, d\u00e9clare : \"Dans une prochaine \u00e9tape, la production de SAF, encore tr\u00e8s co\u00fbteuse en proportion, devra \u00eatre mise \u00e0 l'\u00e9chelle pour se rapprocher des prix du k\u00e9ros\u00e8ne fossile\".<\/p>\n<h2><strong>SAF, une technologie cl\u00e9 <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>SAF joue un r\u00f4le pr\u00e9pond\u00e9rant dans la d\u00e9carbonisation du transport a\u00e9rien, comme le souligne la compagnie a\u00e9rienne.
