En effet, un r\u00e9servoir d'\u00e9nergie saisonnier exp\u00e9rimental est en train de voir le jour sous le site. Il alimentera en \u00e9nergie non seulement les nouveaux b\u00e2timents, mais aussi l'ensemble du site de l'Empa. En \u00e9t\u00e9, la chaleur d\u00e9gag\u00e9e par la ventilation et les appareils de laboratoire sera stock\u00e9e pour \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e en hiver pour le chauffage ou la production d'eau chaude sanitaire. L'objectif est d'utiliser directement ou de \"stocker\" dans l'accumulateur terrestre environ 90% de la chaleur r\u00e9siduelle g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9e. L'Empa entend ainsi r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de CO<sub>2<\/sub>-de leurs b\u00e2timents et poser ainsi un jalon important pour un avenir \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique durable.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2><strong>Temp\u00e9ratures maximales jusqu'\u00e0 50 degr\u00e9s<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Pendant dix ans, l'Empa pourra utiliser l'accumulateur de chaleur en premier lieu \u00e0 des fins de recherche. L'accumulateur de chaleur - un champ de sondes g\u00e9othermiques avec un gradient de temp\u00e9rature - comprend 144 sondes g\u00e9othermiques qui s'enfoncent jusqu'\u00e0 100 m\u00e8tres dans le sol. \u00c0 cette profondeur, l'accumulateur fonctionne de mani\u00e8re particuli\u00e8rement efficace et ne perd qu'une faible partie de la chaleur accumul\u00e9e dans l'environnement. Au centre du champ de sondes g\u00e9othermiques, les temp\u00e9ratures maximales peuvent atteindre 50\u00b0C, tandis qu'en p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie, les valeurs se situent autour de 10\u00b0C. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un syst\u00e8me de tubes, il est possible de piloter chaque tube de la sonde g\u00e9othermique individuellement ou de piloter des zones d\u00e9finies et d'obtenir ainsi le m\u00e9lange optimal entre temp\u00e9rature, efficacit\u00e9 et stockage d'\u00e9nergie.<\/p>\n<p>Un tel r\u00e9servoir terrestre est certes tr\u00e8s efficace, mais il est aussi inerte en raison de sa grande masse.
