L'indice du climat des affaires de Swissmechanic montre que le pessimisme continue de pr\u00e9valoir dans la branche MEM. (Graphique : Swissmechanic)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

L'enqu\u00eate trimestrielle de Swissmechanic, l'association leader des PME-MEM suisses, montre que la situation commerciale des entreprises interrog\u00e9es s'est significativement d\u00e9t\u00e9rior\u00e9e entre avril et octobre 2019. Si les optimistes l'emportaient encore au printemps, les pessimistes l'ont emport\u00e9 \u00e0 l'automne. D\u00e9but 2020, la situation est \u00e9galement jug\u00e9e majoritairement n\u00e9gative, mais un peu moins qu'en octobre, comme le montre le dernier barom\u00e8tre \u00e9conomique.<\/p>\n

Faible entr\u00e9e de commandes pour la branche MEM<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"Outre le franc fort, le plus grand d\u00e9fi actuel est la faiblesse des entr\u00e9es de commandes\", explique J\u00fcrg Marti, directeur de Swissmechanic. Ainsi, 62% des entreprises annoncent un recul des commandes au quatri\u00e8me trimestre 2019 et seulement 15% une augmentation. Cette \u00e9volution se refl\u00e8te dans la baisse des chiffres d'affaires et des marges. En outre, les entreprises envisagent de plus en plus d'adapter leurs effectifs. Pour le premier trimestre 2020, les entreprises sont toujours plus nombreuses \u00e0 pr\u00e9voir une d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration qu'une am\u00e9lioration de leur carnet de commandes, mais l'\u00e9cart n'est plus aussi marqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Une pression de deux c\u00f4t\u00e9s<\/strong><\/h2>\n

La conjoncture de la branche MEM suisse est en premier lieu assombrie par les incertitudes politiques \u00e0 l'\u00e9tranger. La situation est aggrav\u00e9e par la faiblesse du principal d\u00e9bouch\u00e9, l'UE, et par la force du franc. Swissmechanic demande \u00e0 la Banque nationale suisse (BNS) de maintenir le cap qu'elle s'est fix\u00e9 et de continuer \u00e0 veiller de mani\u00e8re cons\u00e9quente et avec v\u00e9h\u00e9mence \u00e0 ce que le franc suisse ne se renforce pas davantage, mais au contraire s'affaiblisse. Ce faisant, la BNS apporte une contribution essentielle au renforcement de l'\u00e9conomie locale. Cela est absolument n\u00e9cessaire, car les entreprises de la branche MEM sont pour ainsi dire mises sous pression de deux c\u00f4t\u00e9s en raison de la force du franc et de la faiblesse des entr\u00e9es de commandes.<\/p>\n

Tendances \u00e0 la d\u00e9tente<\/strong><\/h2>\n

BAK Economics part du principe que les r\u00e9centes tendances \u00e0 la d\u00e9tente dans le conflit commercial entre les \u00c9tats-Unis et la Chine et le Brexit se poursuivront au cours de l'ann\u00e9e. Au plus tard en 2021, le secteur MEM peut donc s'attendre \u00e0 une reprise de la demande \u00e9trang\u00e8re. En Suisse, on peut s'attendre \u00e0 une reprise des investissements en biens d'\u00e9quipement d\u00e8s 2020, car l'adoption de la r\u00e9forme fiscale et du financement de l'AVS (STAF) a fait dispara\u00eetre un facteur d'incertitude important. En cons\u00e9quence, BAK Economics s'attend \u00e0 une acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration croissante du secteur MEM suisse en 2020\/2021.<\/p>\n
