(Graphique : Swissmechanic)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Les 243 PME de la branche MEM interrog\u00e9es en octobre par Swissmechanic et BAK Economics continuent de signaler des absences de collaborateurs (15% des entreprises) et des perturbations dans les cha\u00eenes d'approvisionnement souvent complexes (17%). \"Mais le manque de commandes, dont souffrent 82 pour cent des participants \u00e0 l'enqu\u00eate, se fait encore plus sentir\", explique J\u00fcrg Marti, directeur de Swissmechanic. La faute \u00e0 un cocktail toxique compos\u00e9 d'un faible taux d'utilisation des capacit\u00e9s chez les clients de l'industrie MEM, d'une grande incertitude quant \u00e0 l'\u00e9volution de la pand\u00e9mie et de l'\u00e9conomie, d'un besoin accru de liquidit\u00e9s et d'un renforcement du franc.<\/p>\n<h2>Dynamique de baisse l\u00e9g\u00e8rement frein\u00e9e<\/h2>\n<p>Au troisi\u00e8me trimestre, la dynamique de baisse des entr\u00e9es de commandes et des chiffres d'affaires s'est l\u00e9g\u00e8rement ralentie. Les exportations et le PMI indiquent \u00e9galement que le point le plus bas de la r\u00e9cession dans la branche MEM a \u00e9t\u00e9 atteint au deuxi\u00e8me trimestre de l'ann\u00e9e. La branche n'est toutefois pas encore tir\u00e9e d'affaire, selon une autre conclusion de l'enqu\u00eate. Malgr\u00e9 le ch\u00f4mage partiel et le gel des embauches (70% des entreprises), la branche ne peut pas \u00e9viter de licencier (29% des entreprises). (Graphique : Swissmechanic)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Pr\u00e9server l'\u00e9conomie suisse de nouveaux dommages<\/h2>\n<p>Au vu de la situation toujours tr\u00e8s difficile et inconfortable dans laquelle se trouvent de nombreuses entreprises, notamment dans la branche MEM, l'\u00e9conomie suisse doit absolument \u00eatre pr\u00e9serv\u00e9e de nouveaux dommages, exige l'association Swissmechanic. C'est pourquoi il ne doit pas y avoir de deuxi\u00e8me lockdown national et c'est pourquoi il faut absolument rejeter, le 29 novembre, aussi bien l'initiative du GSsA, qui est n\u00e9faste, que l'initiative sur la responsabilit\u00e9 des entreprises, qui est hostile \u00e0 l'\u00e9conomie. L'acceptation de ces deux initiatives affaiblirait encore plus la place industrielle suisse, ce qu'il faut imp\u00e9rativement \u00e9viter, avertit l'association professionnelle.<\/p>\n<h2>Perspectives d'avenir : Le manque de commandes restera un probl\u00e8me<\/h2>\n<p>Le regard du secteur sur l'avenir est mitig\u00e9. La majorit\u00e9 des entreprises s'attend \u00e0 ce que le manque de commandes ne s'am\u00e9liore pas de mani\u00e8re d\u00e9cisive dans un premier temps. Du c\u00f4t\u00e9 des optimistes, les entreprises sont plus nombreuses \u00e0 vouloir augmenter leurs capacit\u00e9s que les r\u00e9duire pour 2021. Un probl\u00e8me, en revanche, est qu'environ un tiers des entreprises indiquent qu'elles ne disposent pas des moyens financiers n\u00e9cessaires pour investir dans l'avenir. Ce probl\u00e8me \u00e9tait d\u00e9j\u00e0 apparu dans l'enqu\u00eate de l'automne 2019, mais il s'est encore aggrav\u00e9 avec la crise Corona. L'augmentation de l'endettement, la diminution des marges et l'augmentation des besoins en liquidit\u00e9s suite \u00e0 la crise Corona en sont responsables.
