Le march\u00e9 des v\u00e9hicules utilitaires de la Suisse et de la Principaut\u00e9 du Liechtenstein a connu une croissance de 13,1 % au premier trimestre 2021. Apr\u00e8s 9'462 nouvelles immatriculations \u00e0 la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode de l'ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente, on en compte 10'702 \u00e0 la fin mars - et donc m\u00eame 228 de plus que durant les trois premiers mois de l'ann\u00e9e 2019, avant la crise. C'est ce que montrent les derniers relev\u00e9s de l'association de la branche auto-suisse. Les camping-cars font \u00e9galement l'objet d'une demande plus forte ; ils continuent de profiter de la tendance aux vacances individuelles pendant la pand\u00e9mie de Covid et font faire un bond de 31,6 pour cent aux v\u00e9hicules de transport de personnes.<\/p>\n

Le march\u00e9 des v\u00e9hicules utilitaires affiche des perspectives positives<\/h2>\n

Selon auto-suisse, le contexte \u00e9conomique est d\u00e9finitivement favorable \u00e0 une augmentation de la demande de v\u00e9hicules de transport. Les derniers pronostics conjoncturels du groupe d'experts de la Conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration et du Centre de recherches conjoncturelles de l'EPF (KOF) pr\u00e9voient pour 2021 une croissance du produit int\u00e9rieur brut comprise entre 3,2 et 4,7 pour cent. Apr\u00e8s que le march\u00e9 suisse des v\u00e9hicules utilitaires ait \u00e9t\u00e9 nettement plus touch\u00e9 que l'ensemble de l'\u00e9conomie avec une baisse de 13,5 pour cent durant l'ann\u00e9e Corona 2020, la reprise apr\u00e8s la crise pourrait maintenant \u00eatre plus forte. En effet, un effet de rattrapage est pr\u00e9visible en ce qui concerne les investissements des entreprises dans de nouveaux v\u00e9hicules. Compte tenu des chiffres de l'ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 affect\u00e9s par les fermetures de showrooms, auto-suisse part du principe que la reprise sur le march\u00e9 suisse des v\u00e9hicules utilitaires va donc se poursuivre dans les mois \u00e0 venir.<\/p>\n

Les v\u00e9hicules utilitaires l\u00e9gers, en particulier, font l'objet d'une demande accrue, avec une progression de 11,9%. Cela signifie que 7 772 nouveaux v\u00e9hicules utilitaires l\u00e9gers ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mis sur les routes au premier trimestre, contre 6 944 \u00e0 la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode de l'ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente. La croissance de 11,9 pour cent concerne surtout les groupes de v\u00e9hicules les plus lourds, entre 2,6 et 3,5 tonnes de poids total. Seuls les v\u00e9hicules utilitaires lourds sont l\u00e9g\u00e8rement en dessous du niveau du premier trimestre 2020, avec 7,7 pour cent ou 75 unit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

V\u00e9hicules lourds : un effet retard\u00e9<\/h2>\n

Dans les cat\u00e9gories de poids sup\u00e9rieures, les v\u00e9hicules lourds de transport de marchandises, le niveau de l'ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente (976 mises en circulation) n'a en revanche pas pu \u00eatre tout \u00e0 fait atteint. Le recul de 7,7 pour cent \u00e0 901 nouveaux camions et tracteurs \u00e0 sellette est toutefois g\u00e9rable sur le march\u00e9 volatile des camions et pourrait se transformer en un plus d\u00e8s le deuxi\u00e8me trimestre, selon les estimations d'auto-suisse. Les trois premiers mois de 2019 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 exceptionnellement bons avec 1'093 nouvelles immatriculations, le retard par rapport \u00e0 ce trimestre pr\u00e9-Corona est donc \u00e9lev\u00e9 avec 17,6 pour cent. Un nombre \u00e0 quatre chiffres de nouveaux utilitaires lourds en un trimestre semble toutefois d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 nouveau \u00e0 port\u00e9e de main pour le reste de l'ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Augmentation g\u00e9n\u00e9rale des mises en circulation de v\u00e9hicules<\/h2>\n

Avec les 56'497 voitures de tourisme, 67'199 v\u00e9hicules \u00e0 moteur neufs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en circulation en Suisse et dans la Principaut\u00e9 de Liechtenstein au premier trimestre 2021. Par rapport aux 64'914 immatriculations de l'ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente, cela repr\u00e9sente une augmentation de 2'285 nouvelles immatriculations ou 3,5 pour cent.<\/p>\n
