Les \u00e9motic\u00f4nes sont saisies au clavier \u00e0 l'aide de caract\u00e8res de contr\u00f4le. Le plus connu est le visage souriant avec :-). Certains programmes convertissent automatiquement les images de traits couch\u00e9es en repr\u00e9sentations graphiques - ce sont alors les fameux smileys. Les smileys sont donc des \u00e9motic\u00f4nes graphiques. Ils permettent de mieux transmettre des humeurs telles que la col\u00e8re, la peur ou la joie. Mais les smileys peuvent aussi \u00eatre des emojis. Emoji est le terme g\u00e9n\u00e9rique pour les repr\u00e9sentations de type bande dessin\u00e9e et pour ainsi dire l'\u00e9volution des \u00e9motic\u00f4nes. Par rapport aux smileys et aux \u00e9motic\u00f4nes, les \u00e9mojis ne repr\u00e9sentent pas seulement des \u00e9motions, mais aussi des animaux, des plantes ou des aliments et des boissons\".<\/p>\n<h2>Pourquoi utilisons-nous de plus en plus de smileys dans la communication ?<\/h2>\n<p>Michal B\u00fcrger : \"Les smileys remplacent la communication non verbale manquante - ce que les expressions faciales, les gestes et le ton de la voix accomplissent normalement dans une conversation en face \u00e0 face. Une conversation ne se r\u00e9sume pas au langage parl\u00e9. C'est pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment ce que nous essayons de transposer dans la communication num\u00e9rique gr\u00e2ce aux smileys. De plus, nous communiquons aujourd'hui beaucoup plus rapidement qu'\u00e0 l'\u00e9poque analogique. Dans les diff\u00e9rents tchats, nous recevons de nouveaux messages toutes les minutes et nous avons le sentiment de devoir r\u00e9pondre tout aussi rapidement. C'est l\u00e0 que les smileys offrent l'avantage du gain de temps : vous pouvez exprimer une \u00e9motion en un seul clic sur une \u00e9motic\u00f4ne donn\u00e9e, sans devoir le faire par \u00e9crit\".<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"line-height: 17.0pt;\">Les smileys sont-ils \u00e9galement appropri\u00e9s dans les e-mails professionnels ou ont-ils ici un effet non professionnel ?<\/h2>\n<p>Michal B\u00fcrger : \"Il n'y a pas de r\u00e9ponse unique \u00e0 cette question. D'une part, cela d\u00e9pend du contexte et de la formalit\u00e9 du message. Si vous envoyez par exemple un e-mail que vous auriez auparavant envoy\u00e9 sous forme de lettre imprim\u00e9e, il est pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable de ne pas utiliser de smileys. Les factures ou les offres en sont des exemples. D'autre part, leur relation avec le destinataire est d\u00e9terminante. Si l'exp\u00e9diteur et le destinataire ne se sont jamais rencontr\u00e9s, les smileys peuvent rapidement para\u00eetre incomp\u00e9tents. En revanche, entre coll\u00e8gues familiers, l'utilisation de smileys ne pose aucun probl\u00e8me. M\u00eame si l'on conna\u00eet un partenaire commercial ou un client depuis longtemps et que l'on se fait confiance, on peut utiliser des smileys, mais on devrait le faire avec un peu plus de parcimonie que dans la communication priv\u00e9e\".<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"line-height: 17.0pt;\">Quels effets puis-je obtenir sur le destinataire en envoyant des e-mails avec des smileys ?<\/h2>\n<p>Michal B\u00fcrger : \"Les e-mails critiques peuvent justement \u00eatre influenc\u00e9s positivement par un smiley. Avec un smiley qui rit ou qui cligne de l'\u0153il, vous pouvez consid\u00e9rablement att\u00e9nuer les sentiments n\u00e9gatifs du destinataire. Le risque qu'il ou elle prenne votre critique personnellement diminue nettement. Mais en principe, il est important d'utiliser les smileys de mani\u00e8re tr\u00e8s r\u00e9fl\u00e9chie et de se demander au pr\u00e9alable quel effet ils sont susceptibles d'avoir sur le destinataire. Ne serait-ce que parce que si elles ne sont pas reconnues par un client de messagerie, il ne reste plus qu'un objet cryptique. Il faut \u00e9galement garder \u00e0 l'esprit que dans de nombreuses entreprises, les e-mails finissent dans les spams lorsqu'ils contiennent des caract\u00e8res sp\u00e9ciaux, dont font partie les smileys et les emojis, que ce soit dans la ligne d'objet ou dans le texte\".<\/p>\n<h2>Comment r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 un e-mail contenant des smileys ?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"line-height: 17.0pt;\">Michal B\u00fcrger : \"Si votre \"vis-\u00e0-vis\" utilise des smileys, cela ne signifie pas pour autant que vous devez en faire autant, par exemple pour ne pas para\u00eetre impoli.
