(Image : eco.ch)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>L'ambassadeur de l'eau et nageur d'exp\u00e9dition Ernst Bromeis est cette ann\u00e9e le laur\u00e9at du Prix suisse du d\u00e9veloppement durable <a href=\"\/\/www.eco.ch\/prix\/\">prix eco.ch<\/a> dans la cat\u00e9gorie \"Porteur d'espoir\". eco.ch, le Forum suisse pour le d\u00e9veloppement durable, lui remettra son prix le 31 mars au th\u00e9\u00e2tre de B\u00e2le. \"Nous sommes tr\u00e8s heureux de pouvoir distinguer en la personne d'Ernst Bromeis une personnalit\u00e9 aussi engag\u00e9e, qui s'engage depuis des ann\u00e9es avec passion pour le libre acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l'eau potable dans le monde\", s'est r\u00e9joui Beat Jans, pr\u00e9sident de l'association eco.ch, lors de la conf\u00e9rence de presse de eco.ch.<\/p>\n<p>Avec le prix eco.ch, l'association r\u00e9compense l'engagement de personnes et d'organisations pour un avenir durable et digne d'\u00eatre v\u00e9cu. Ernst Bromeis a expliqu\u00e9 : \"Le prix eco.ch est pour moi une motivation \u00e0 poursuivre mon chemin personnel en tant qu'ambassadeur de l'eau. Le prix doit aussi donner de la force \u00e0 tous ceux qui doutent de suivre leur propre voie et de d\u00e9fendre leurs propres convictions\".<\/p>\n<p><strong>\"Nous avons tous besoin d'eau pour vivre\"<\/strong><br \/>\nDepuis 2007, le Davosien Bromeis g\u00e8re le projet \"Le miracle bleu\", qui met l'accent sur l'eau en tant que droit de l'homme et droit \u00e0 la vie, ainsi que comme base g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de l'existence. \"Rien ne nous relie plus, nous les hommes et toute vie, que l'eau. Nous avons tous besoin d'eau pour vivre. La question n'est pas de savoir si nous l'utilisons, mais comment nous l'utilisons. Cette question et ses solutions montrent toute notre responsabilit\u00e9, y compris en Suisse, que nous empruntions l'eau comme source de vie ou que nous nous contentions de la consommer\", a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Bromeis. R\u00e9guli\u00e8rement, il attire l'attention sur le droit humain \u00e0 l'eau par des exp\u00e9ditions sur l'eau et des actions. Comme aujourd'hui, o\u00f9 il s'est jet\u00e9 dans les flots du Rhin devant les m\u00e9dias r\u00e9unis \u00e0 B\u00e2le, pr\u00e8s du bac de Klingental, o\u00f9 il a nag\u00e9 entour\u00e9 de kilos de PET et d'autres d\u00e9chets plastiques.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Le Rhin est pollu\u00e9 par les microplastiques<\/strong><br \/>\nCette action d'eco.ch et d'Ernst Bromeis avait pour but d'illustrer la quantit\u00e9 de microplastiques qui s'\u00e9coule dans le Rhin b\u00e2lois. Bien que cela ne soit pas visible \u00e0 l'\u0153il nu, le Rhin est consid\u00e9rablement pollu\u00e9 par les microplastiques, comme l'a expliqu\u00e9 Patricia Holm, directrice du programme Homme Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Environnement \u00e0 l'Universit\u00e9 de B\u00e2le. Parmi les grands cours d'eau \u00e9tudi\u00e9s sur leur longueur, le Rhin fait partie des fleuves les plus pollu\u00e9s au monde. \"Environ 30 kilogrammes de microplastiques, dont font partie les plus petites particules de plastique de moins de 5 millim\u00e8tres, sont transport\u00e9s chaque jour par le Rhin vers la mer du Nord\", a-t-elle d\u00e9clar\u00e9. Sur une ann\u00e9e, cela repr\u00e9sente 10 tonnes. Ces particules de plastique apparaissent en tant que produit interm\u00e9diaire lors de la fabrication des mati\u00e8res plastiques ainsi que sous forme de granul\u00e9s dans les produits de nettoyage et d'entretien et se forment lors de la d\u00e9composition de plus gros morceaux de plastique dans l'environnement.
