Dans les 368 installations de compostage et de m\u00e9thanisation au total, plus de 154 kilos de d\u00e9chets biog\u00e8nes par habitant sont valoris\u00e9s en moyenne. Cela correspond \u00e0 un total de 1,26 million de tonnes par an. Il existe donc plus d'installations de traitement des d\u00e9chets biog\u00e8nes que ce qui avait \u00e9t\u00e9 estim\u00e9 jusqu'\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent. Il y a \u00e9galement beaucoup plus de d\u00e9chets biog\u00e8nes collect\u00e9s et valoris\u00e9s que ce qui \u00e9tait estim\u00e9 jusqu'\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent. Les estimations pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes \u00e9taient de 250 installations et de 990'000 tonnes par an. C'est ce que montre une nouvelle \u00e9tude de l'Office f\u00e9d\u00e9ral de l'environnement (OFEV), pour laquelle les cantons ont \u00e9t\u00e9 interrog\u00e9s directement pour la premi\u00e8re fois.<\/p>\n<p>Selon l'\u00e9tude, les installations de compostage sont les plus fr\u00e9quentes (70 %), suivies des installations de biogaz agricole (20 %) et des installations de m\u00e9thanisation industrielle et commerciale (7 %). Les plus grandes de ces installations valorisent plus de la moiti\u00e9 des d\u00e9chets biog\u00e8nes. Le reste est trait\u00e9 dans des installations de compostage et de m\u00e9thanisation d'une capacit\u00e9 inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 10 000 tonnes de d\u00e9chets par an.<\/p>\n<p>La majeure partie des produits issus de toutes les installations est utilis\u00e9e dans l'agriculture et l'horticulture comme compost et digestat.<\/p>\n<p>Une grande partie des d\u00e9chets biog\u00e8nes n'est pas encore utilis\u00e9e de mani\u00e8re optimale, car il existe un potentiel d'optimisation consid\u00e9rable dans la collecte s\u00e9par\u00e9e des d\u00e9chets biologiques et verts. Une meilleure utilisation permet d'obtenir des nutriments, des amendements et de l'\u00e9nergie renouvelable, et de r\u00e9duire les atteintes \u00e0 l'environnement (polluants ou substances \u00e9trang\u00e8res provenant des engrais, utilisation de sources d'\u00e9nergie fossiles).<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In der Schweiz und in Liechtenstein existiert fl\u00e4chendeckend ein leistungsf\u00e4higer Wirtschaftszweig zur Entsorgung von biogenen Abf\u00e4llen (siehe Kasten).
