Dans l'alimentation humaine, la f\u00e8ve jaune est de plus en plus demand\u00e9e dans toute l'Europe et la gamme de produits \u00e0 base de soja ne cesse de s'\u00e9largir. Les acteurs suisses du soja bio se sont d\u00e9sormais associ\u00e9s pour am\u00e9liorer la culture locale et \u00e9largir la gamme de produits \u00e0 base de soja indig\u00e8ne. Le projet est soutenu par <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fibl.org\" target=\"_blank\" data-cke-saved-href=\"\/\/www.fibl.org\" rel=\"noopener\">Institut de recherche de l'agriculture biologique (FiBL) <\/a>coordonn\u00e9. Les avantages du soja bio suisse : aucune for\u00eat tropicale n'est d\u00e9frich\u00e9e \u00e0 cet effet, le soja est garanti exempt de modifications g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques, la cr\u00e9ation de valeur a lieu en Suisse et la tra\u00e7abilit\u00e9 est garantie. De plus, les agriculteurs sont organis\u00e9s au sein de l'organisation de producteurs PROGANA et disposent de contrats d'achat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les pi\u00e8ges de la culture du soja<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses bact\u00e9ries nodul\u00e9es, le soja, en tant que l\u00e9gumineuse, fixe certes un azote important et ne doit pas \u00eatre fertilis\u00e9. \"Le principal probl\u00e8me de la culture du soja bio r\u00e9side surtout dans l'enherbement\", estime Maurice Clerc, conseiller en grandes cultures du FiBL et codirecteur du projet. \"Cela fait grimper les co\u00fbts de production en bio. C'est pourquoi il est important de cultiver des vari\u00e9t\u00e9s qui \u00e9touffent mieux les mauvaises herbes et qui sont id\u00e9ales pour la fabrication des diff\u00e9rents produits\".<\/p>\n<p>Jusqu'\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, le soja n'est pas encore tr\u00e8s r\u00e9pandu dans l'agriculture biologique en Suisse, m\u00eame si quelques pionniers le cultivent depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es. Cela est d\u00fb en grande partie aux travaux de s\u00e9lection men\u00e9s depuis plus de 30 ans par la station de recherche Agroscope, qui ont permis de cr\u00e9er des vari\u00e9t\u00e9s adapt\u00e9es au climat local. Or, de plus en plus d'agriculteurs bio s'int\u00e9ressent \u00e0 la culture du soja, qui est tr\u00e8s exigeante. C'est l\u00e0 qu'intervient le projet \"Soja comestible bio Suisse\".<\/p>\n<p><strong>Le projet \"Soja alimentaire bio Suisse\" : de quoi s'agit-il ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L'objectif du projet est de renforcer le secteur du soja comestible bio en Suisse en int\u00e9grant l'ensemble de la cha\u00eene de cr\u00e9ation de valeur, depuis la s\u00e9lection, l'examen des vari\u00e9t\u00e9s, la multiplication des semences, le conseil en culture, le traitement, le d\u00e9veloppement des produits, jusqu'au consommateur en passant par le commerce de d\u00e9tail, et de mettre \u00e0 la disposition des consommateurs des produits de soja bio de haute qualit\u00e9 enti\u00e8rement issus de la production locale. \"Nous voulons promouvoir une collaboration id\u00e9ale pour tous ceux qui participent \u00e0 la production et \u00e0 la transformation du soja comestible bio suisse - des semences jusqu'au produit final destin\u00e9 aux consommateurs\", explique Matthias Klaiss, coordinateur du projet au FiBL.<\/p>\n<p>Le projet est soutenu par le <a href=\"http:\/\/www.coop.ch\/fonds\" target=\"_blank\" data-cke-saved-href=\"\/\/www.coop.ch\/fonds\" rel=\"noopener\">Fonds Coop pour le d\u00e9veloppement durable<\/a> et de la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bio-suisse.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-cke-saved-href=\"\/\/www.bio-suisse.ch\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Bio Suisse<\/a> soutenu financi\u00e8rement. \"Depuis 2015, Coop produit tous ses produits \u00e0 base de tofu enti\u00e8rement avec du soja bio provenant de Suisse\", souligne Roland Frefel, responsable des produits frais chez Coop. \"Afin de pouvoir continuer \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la demande croissante de ces produits, Coop soutient ce projet innovant et souligne une fois de plus son r\u00f4le de pr\u00e9curseur dans le domaine du d\u00e9veloppement durable et notamment de l'agriculture biologique\".<\/p>\n<p>Coop, le FiBL, Agroscope, Bio Suisse, l'organisation de producteurs PROGANA, Delley Samen und Pflanzen AG et M\u00fchle Rytz participent au projet \"Soja alimentaire bio Suisse\".
