Cette pression convient en premier lieu pour le ravitaillement des v\u00e9hicules utilitaires qui disposent de grands r\u00e9servoirs. Avec la nouvelle pompe \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne de 700 bars, l'Empa r\u00e9pond aux besoins des v\u00e9hicules de tourisme \u00e0 pile \u00e0 combustible : r\u00e9servoirs compacts, autonomie aussi grande que possible et ravitaillement rapide. Les voitures de tourisme \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne peuvent ainsi \u00eatre ravitaill\u00e9es en 2 \u00e0 3 minutes et ont une autonomie pouvant atteindre 600 km lorsque le r\u00e9servoir est plein. Les v\u00e9hicules \u00e0 pile \u00e0 combustible deviennent ainsi d'un seul coup comp\u00e9titifs par rapport aux v\u00e9hicules traditionnels \u00e0 essence ou diesel en termes de confort de ravitaillement.<\/p>\n<p>Pour permettre un ravitaillement rapide, l'hydrog\u00e8ne comprim\u00e9 est pr\u00e9refroidi \u00e0 -40\u00b0C. Cela est n\u00e9cessaire pour que la temp\u00e9rature dans le r\u00e9servoir ne s'\u00e9l\u00e8ve pas trop en raison de la chaleur de compression qui se produit pendant le ravitaillement. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une interface infrarouge intelligente, le v\u00e9hicule \"communique\" avec le pistolet de distribution pendant le processus de ravitaillement et fournit des informations telles que la temp\u00e9rature et le niveau de remplissage. La nouvelle station-service d'hydrog\u00e8ne de l'Empa est \u00e9troitement li\u00e9e \u00e0 la premi\u00e8re station-service d'hydrog\u00e8ne enti\u00e8rement publique qui sera inaugur\u00e9e d\u00e9but novembre \u00e0 Hunzenschwil par Coop Mineraloel AG en collaboration avec \"H2 Energy AG\".<\/p>\n<p><strong>La cl\u00e9 du succ\u00e8s : pouvoir stocker les \u00e9nergies renouvelables<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L'hydrog\u00e8ne est tout \u00e0 fait essentiel pour l'int\u00e9gration de l'\u00e9nergie renouvelable, qui n'est pas toujours produite au moment o\u00f9 elle est n\u00e9cessaire. Il faut donc \u00eatre en mesure de la stocker temporairement. Aujourd'hui, on dispose pour cela d'accumulateurs \u00e0 petite \u00e9chelle au niveau le plus bas du r\u00e9seau \u00e9lectrique et de centrales de pompage-turbinage \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle au niveau le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 du r\u00e9seau. Mais le besoin de technologies interm\u00e9diaires en termes de capacit\u00e9 et de puissance, reli\u00e9es \u00e0 un niveau de r\u00e9seau moyen, se fait de plus en plus sentir. Il s'agit notamment des installations \"power-to-gas\". Celles-ci peuvent transformer l'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 renouvelable en carburant, par exemple en hydrog\u00e8ne ou en m\u00e9thane, et remplacer ainsi l'essence et le diesel, chaque fois qu'elle ne peut pas \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e de mani\u00e8re rentable sur le march\u00e9 de l'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Cela est particuli\u00e8rement utile pour les \"gros rouleurs\" : environ 20% des v\u00e9hicules en Suisse affichent des distances annuelles de plus de 20 000 km et sont responsables ensemble de pr\u00e8s de la moiti\u00e9 de tous les kilom\u00e8tres parcourus. Pour faire passer de tels v\u00e9hicules de l'\u00e9nergie fossile \u00e0 l'\u00e9nergie renouvelable, il faut donc disposer d'une grande autonomie, ce que les v\u00e9hicules purement \u00e9lectriques avec batterie ne peuvent pas offrir, du moins dans un avenir proche. En revanche, les v\u00e9hicules \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne conviennent \u00e9galement pour les longs trajets.
