(Immagine: Unsplash)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">In media, il 16% della superficie agricola svizzera \u00e8 coltivata da aziende biologiche. Nel caso dei legumi, la produzione biologica rappresenta gi\u00e0 il 29% della superficie coltivata, mentre per gli ortaggi il 21%. La viticoltura biologica, invece, \u00e8 al di sotto della media con il 10% della superficie vitata.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"news-content\">\n<p class=\"bodytext\">L'anno scorso sono state registrate in Svizzera 50.038 aziende agricole, 814 in meno rispetto all'anno precedente. Hanno coltivato un totale di 1.043.729 ettari, 1247 ettari in meno rispetto al 2018. Il calo \u00e8 esclusivamente a carico delle aziende agricole a produzione convenzionale.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Il numero di aziende agricole biologiche \u00e8 invece aumentato di 252 unit\u00e0, raggiungendo quota 7284. Insieme gestiscono 170.007 ettari, 8986 ettari in pi\u00f9 rispetto al 2018, senza contare i pascoli estivi.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">I Grigioni rimangono l'unico cantone in cui le aziende agricole biologiche sono in maggioranza: 1305 aziende agricole biologiche gestiscono 36.889 ettari, mentre 945 aziende agricole a produzione convenzionale gestiscono 19.288 ettari. Berna e Vaud registrano l'aumento pi\u00f9 consistente, rispettivamente con 39 e 37 aziende biologiche in pi\u00f9; la superficie utilizzata in modo biologico \u00e8 aumentata in entrambi i cantoni di 1227 e 1835 ettari.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><em>Estratto dal comunicato stampa dell'Ufficio federale di statistica UST<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Meno pane di frumento e barbabietola da zucchero<\/strong><br \/>\nNel 2019, la maggior parte della superficie agricola (SAU) era costituita da prati e pascoli naturali (605 700 ha o 58% di SAU). I seminativi erano praticati su 398 800 ettari (38% della LN). Il<br \/>\nAltri terreni (38 200 ha; 4% della LN) consistevano in vigneti (13 400 ha) e frutteti (7000 ha), tra gli altri.<\/p>\n<p>Le colture si sono sviluppate in modo diverso nel 2019. La superficie coltivata a frumento panificabile (73.600 ettari) \u00e8 diminuita di 2,8%, mentre quella coltivata a barbabietola da zucchero si \u00e8 ridotta di altri 1.000 ettari, passando a 17.600 ettari nel 2019. Anche la superficie coltivata a ortaggi \u00e8 diminuita (11 900 ha; -2,1%) dopo diversi anni di crescita. Al contrario, la coltivazione del girasole \u00e8 aumentata nel 2019 (5900 ha; +9,6%).<br \/>\nAnche le superfici coltivate ad avena (1700 ha, +5,2%) e a farro (5700 ha, +6%) sono cresciute in modo particolare. Anche alcune colture di nicchia, come il miglio e il sorgo, la canapa e le lenticchie, sono aumentate a<br \/>\nin aumento.<\/p>\n<p>L'agricoltura biologica \u00e8 ormai parte integrante dell'agricoltura svizzera e viene praticata su 16% di terreno. Le aree coltivate con metodi biologici rappresentano 21% per gli ortaggi, per i<br \/>\nlegumi 29% e per la vite 10%. La barbabietola da zucchero biologica, invece, non \u00e8 molto diffusa, con solo 1%.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sempre meno mucche da latte e maiali, pi\u00f9 pollame<\/strong><br \/>\nCome negli anni precedenti, anche nel 2019 il numero di bovini ha continuato a diminuire (-1,2%). Questa tendenza \u00e8 stata particolarmente pronunciata per le vacche da latte (554 600 animali, -1,7%). Dal 1999 il<br \/>\nGli allevamenti di vacche da latte sono diminuiti di 19%, cos\u00ec come il numero di aziende di allevamento (-47%).<\/p>\n<p>Stimolata dal successo della produzione biologica, la produzione di carne bovina ha assunto un'importanza analoga a quella degli anni precedenti: il numero di vacche nutrici \u00e8 aumentato di 2,2%. Il loro numero \u00e8 triplicato in 20 anni (1999: 41.200; 2019: 128.300). Nel settore della produzione di carne suina, sono diminuiti sia il numero di produttori (5800; -5,7%) sia gli stock di animali (-4,1%).<\/p>\n<p>L'allevamento di pollame ha registrato una ripresa complessiva nel 2019 (+2,5%). A causa dell'aumento della domanda, la popolazione di galline ovaiole \u00e8 aumentata di 5,3% rispetto al 2018. 18%, di cui una raccolta sotto<br \/>\nallevati con etichetta biologica. Il numero di pollastre da ingrasso, invece, \u00e8 rimasto stabile rispetto all'anno precedente. Anche il numero di ovini e caprini \u00e8 rimasto praticamente invariato nel 2019. Questi ultimi sono<br \/>\nprincipalmente nei cantoni di Berna, Grigioni, Vallese e San Gallo. Tre quarti delle greggi di pecore da latte sono allevate secondo le regole dell'agricoltura biologica.<\/p>\n<p><em>Lo spostamento verso il biologico \u00e8 quindi decisamente evidente nella produzione di carne: il numero di vacche nutrici \u00e8 aumentato del 2,2% nel 2019, secondo l'UST, mentre il numero di vacche da latte \u00e8 diminuito dell'1,7%, come mostra l'Ufficio federale di statistica (<a href=\"\/\/www.bfs.admin.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FSO<\/a>) in un\u00a0<a href=\"\/\/www.bfs.admin.ch\/bfsstatic\/dam\/assets\/12907133\/master\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Comunicazione<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Im Durchschnitt werden 16 Prozent der landwirtschaftlichen Nutzfl\u00e4che schweizweit durch Biobetriebe bewirtschaftet.
