(Immagine: SCB)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Il passaggio alle energie rinnovabili ha bisogno di stoccaggio dell'elettricit\u00e0, soprattutto in vista del rapido aumento del consumo di elettricit\u00e0 e dell'esplosione dei costi dell'energia. Ma le tecnologie convenzionali delle batterie creano seri problemi di risorse e rifiuti. Le batterie agli ioni di litio hanno rivoluzionato il mondo delle batterie. Ma ora che la loro produzione e il loro uso stanno salendo a livelli astronomici, il lato negativo di questo sviluppo sta diventando evidente: Sono necessarie materie prime la cui disponibilit\u00e0 permanente non \u00e8 garantita e alcune delle quali sono estratte in condizioni disumane. Ci sono rischi per la sicurezza, poich\u00e9 le batterie possono portare a incendi ed esplosioni difficili da estinguere. E, soprattutto, ci sar\u00e0 un'enorme montagna di rifiuti nel prossimo futuro. Questo perch\u00e9 la durata di vita delle batterie convenzionali agli ioni di litio \u00e8 molto limitata. Raggiungono la fine della loro vita al pi\u00f9 tardi dopo qualche migliaio di cicli di carica. Le batterie allo stato solido sono molto diverse: si suppone che siano pi\u00f9 durevoli e che abbiano anche altri vantaggi.<\/p>\n<h3>Batterie allo stato solido: M<strong>Almeno 50 % meglio nelle prestazioni ambientali <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Swiss Clean Battery AG, fondata a Frauenfeld nel febbraio 2022, vuole lasciarsi alle spalle la concorrenza internazionale con il suo prodotto ecologico, sicuro e potente. Le batterie a stato solido saranno prodotte su larga scala in una nuova fabbrica. Questi non contengono materie prime critiche come il cobalto, sono resistenti alla scarica profonda e possono essere caricati rapidamente. Le batterie allo stato solido sono state considerate per anni una promettente tecnologia successore delle tradizionali batterie agli ioni di litio. Di conseguenza, sono oggetto di ricerca in numerosi laboratori in tutto il mondo. Finora, tuttavia, non \u00e8 stato possibile sviluppare batterie ricaricabili ad alte prestazioni con conduttori a ioni fissi: Un problema tecnico centrale \u00e8 quello di portare il conduttore di ioni fisso nelle celle della batteria in una connessione stabile con gli elettrodi. Molti progetti di ricerca si basano su una \"costruzione modulare\", in cui le singole parti sono combinate all'esterno della cella e poi inserite nell'alloggiamento. Questo porta a problemi con il trasferimento di ioni ai confini del materiale tra gli elettrodi e il conduttore di ioni fisso. Dopo pi\u00f9 di 30 anni di ricerca di base, \u00e8 stato possibile risolvere questo problema: In questo nuovo approccio alla soluzione del problema, il conduttore di ioni fisso \u00e8 creato nella cella della batteria stessa, simile a un adesivo multicomponente. (Immagine: SCB)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3>Obiettivi ambiziosi - e IPO prevista per l'autunno<\/h3>\n<p>Le ambizioni dell'azienda sono grandi: nella prima fase di produzione di 1,2 GWH, SCB AG prevede un fatturato di 318 milioni di CHF. Per questo, sono previsti 246 milioni di franchi svizzeri da investire nei macchinari. In questa prima fase SCB AG impiega 181 persone. Sar\u00e0 costruita un'area di produzione di 20.000 m2 per produrre 7,2 milioni di celle di batteria all'anno. L'enterprise value in questa prima fase \u00e8 di 1,3 miliardi di franchi svizzeri, con un multiplo conservativo di 18. Oltre al finanziamento del debito per l'impianto di produzione, un'offerta pubblica iniziale (IPO) \u00e8 prevista per ottobre 2022 alla Borsa di Zurigo. Nella fase finale, la SCB AG dovrebbe produrre 7,6 GWH, con un investimento di 775 milioni di CHF e un fatturato di oltre 2 miliardi di CHF. Circa 100.000 m2 di area di produzione saranno costruiti per questo scopo. In questa fase di espansione, SCB AG produrr\u00e0 quasi 48 milioni di celle per batterie all'anno con 1061 dipendenti.
