Ecco perch\u00e9 il pi\u00f9 grande assicuratore di base della Svizzera sta investendo in start-up digitali da un anno e mezzo. CSS ha ora investito in quattro aziende e sta investendo anche in Heartbeat Medical. Questa start-up gestisce una piattaforma che collega le indagini automatizzate sui pazienti con i dati clinici. I successi della terapia diventano cos\u00ec misurabili e la qualit\u00e0 della vita dei pazienti si sposta al centro del processo decisionale e del trattamento. In altre parole, si tratta di una cura pi\u00f9 orientata al paziente.\r\n<h2><strong>I dati come base del processo decisionale<\/strong><\/h2>\r\nLe indagini di Heartbeat Medical incentrate sul paziente si basano sul sistema delle cosiddette \"Patient-Reported Outcome Measures\" (PROM). Le PROM misurano il modo in cui un paziente valuta il proprio stato di salute e allo stesso tempo mostrano l'effetto di un trattamento. I questionari standardizzati vengono utilizzati per registrare digitalmente le informazioni sulla qualit\u00e0 della vita, sui sintomi o sugli effetti del trattamento prima e dopo un intervento. I medici documentano ulteriori informazioni dall'anamnesi e le integrano con ulteriori dati clinici. In questo modo lo stato di salute percepito dal paziente durante o dopo il trattamento \u00e8 confrontabile e misurabile. Su questa base di dati, i medici professionisti definiscono il percorso terapeutico successivo insieme ai pazienti. Pi\u00f9 di 30 ospedali svizzeri, tra cui l'Inselspital di Berna, utilizzano gi\u00e0 la piattaforma Heartbeat Medical, registrata come dispositivo medico.\r\n<h2><strong>Remunerazione orientata alla qualit\u00e0 e cura orientata al paziente al passo con l'altro<\/strong><\/h2>\r\nIl percorso terapeutico basato sui dati non solo garantisce risultati misurabili e una migliore qualit\u00e0 di vita per i pazienti. Il miglioramento della qualit\u00e0 delle cure pu\u00f2 anche avere un effetto di contenimento dei costi sanitari. Il CSS vuole inoltre porre la qualit\u00e0 al centro delle cure e creare incentivi per la sua remunerazione. Il pi\u00f9 grande assicuratore di base sta lavorando per raggiungere l'obiettivo di sistemi retributivi qualitativi con diverse iniziative. Oltre ai PROM, questi includono l'approccio Value Based Health Care e il progetto pilota Patient Empowerment Initiative: CSS, SWICA, PwC, l'Ospedale Universitario di Basilea e l'Ospedale Cantonale di Winterthur stanno sviluppando un sistema tariffario basato sulla qualit\u00e0 del trattamento e sui benefici per il paziente.
