Le aziende vengono valutate utilizzando una metodologia olistica coerente in due fasi, un'analisi statistica e un audit in loco. L'audit riguarda l'impegno della dirigenza nei confronti della parit\u00e0 retributiva, i processi e le politiche delle risorse umane e la percezione che i dipendenti hanno dell'impegno dell'azienda nei confronti della parit\u00e0 retributiva. L'audit \u00e8 condotto da esperti di PwC. La metodologia \u00e8 stata sviluppata in collaborazione con l'Universit\u00e0 di Ginevra. Le aziende che soddisfano i requisiti ricevono il marchio Equal Salary Foundation per un periodo di tre anni. L'Ufficio federale per l'uguaglianza di genere ha sostenuto finanziariamente lo sviluppo della certificazione.
