(Immagine: Unsplash.com)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Molte aziende in Svizzera e in altri Paesi sviluppati attribuiscono un'alta priorit\u00e0 all'inclusione dei dipendenti omosessuali, con un impatto complessivamente positivo sul posto di lavoro. \u00c8 quanto emerge da uno studio di Deloitte intitolato \"LGBT+ Inclusion@Work\". Il sondaggio ha coinvolto 600 persone della comunit\u00e0 LGBT+ di 12 Paesi. Non \u00e8 stato intervistato nessuno dalla Svizzera, ma la situazione \u00e8 paragonabile.<\/p>\n<h3>Un supporto visibile \u00e8 importante<\/h3>\n<p>Lo studio fornisce un'istantanea delle esperienze di vita dei dipendenti LGBT+. Secondo l'indagine, oltre il 70% di loro ha maggiori probabilit\u00e0 di rimanere nel proprio posto di lavoro perch\u00e9 la propria organizzazione adotta un approccio attivo all'inclusione LGBT+. Secondo gli autori dello studio, ci\u00f2 \u00e8 tanto pi\u00f9 importante se si considera l'attuale grave carenza di lavoratori qualificati.<\/p>\n<p>Gli intervistati hanno citato il sostegno visibile da parte di altri dipendenti (i cosiddetti \"alleati LGBT+\") e la promozione del networking interno e della visibilit\u00e0 come importanti prerequisiti per una cultura inclusiva. Nonostante questi sforzi, il 42% di tutti gli intervistati ha riferito di aver subito comportamenti non inclusivi e discriminazioni sul posto di lavoro.<\/p>\n<h3>Deve essere possibile un'uscita sicura<\/h3>\n<p>\"Negli ultimi anni molte aziende in tutto il mondo hanno preso provvedimenti per migliorare l'accettazione delle persone LGBT+ e aumentare la tolleranza reciproca. E anche la comunit\u00e0 queer lo apprezza. Gli sforzi devono essere integrati e sostenuti strategicamente negli sforzi generali per la diversit\u00e0, la parit\u00e0 di trattamento e l'inclusione\", spiega Liza Engel, Chief People Officer di Deloitte Svizzera. \"Tuttavia, le aziende di tutto il mondo e della Svizzera devono fare molto di pi\u00f9 per integrare pienamente le persone LGBT+ nella loro cultura quotidiana. Devono andare oltre i singoli programmi per creare una cultura veramente rispettosa in cui i comportamenti non inclusivi non siano tollerati. Tutti i dipendenti devono poter uscire in sicurezza dal luogo di lavoro\".<\/p>\n<p>Circa l'80% degli intervistati nel sondaggio ha dichiarato che la propria azienda ha introdotto misure e iniziative per l'inclusione LGBT+. Il 95% di loro ritiene che questo abbia portato a un sostegno significativo per i dipendenti LGBT+ nelle rispettive aziende. La stragrande maggioranza (93%) degli intervistati che lavorano in aziende globali (55%) ritiene che la comunicazione a livello aziendale e le misure di inclusione LGBT+ diano potere alle persone LGBT+ anche nei loro Paesi di origine.<\/p>\n<h3>La discriminazione nei confronti delle persone LGBT+ \u00e8 ancora in atto<\/h3>\n<p>Come gi\u00e0 detto, pi\u00f9 di due quinti degli intervistati subiscono ancora discriminazioni sul lavoro. Commenti o battute sessuali indesiderate (33%), commenti offensivi sull'identit\u00e0 di genere (25%) o sull'aspetto (23%) e contatti fisici indesiderati (21%) sono tra i comportamenti discriminatori pi\u00f9 frequentemente citati. Quasi tre quarti delle persone colpite hanno comunicato la loro esperienza all'azienda e sei su dieci si sono dichiarati soddisfatti della risposta.<\/p>\n<p>Molti scelgono ancora di non condividere il proprio orientamento sessuale o la propria identit\u00e0 di genere con la maggior parte dei colleghi. Una persona su cinque (19%) non parla del proprio orientamento sessuale con nessuno al lavoro, mentre un terzo (34%) ne parla almeno con le persone pi\u00f9 vicine.<\/p>\n<h3>Tre elementi centrali per una cultura inclusiva<\/h3>\n<p>Affinch\u00e9 le organizzazioni LGBT+ siano sostenibilmente inclusive, conclude lo studio, i leader devono concentrarsi su tre elementi critici: Garantire che tutti i dipendenti si sentano a proprio agio sul lavoro; creare un ambiente in cui i comportamenti non inclusivi non siano tollerati da nessuno; promuovere e comunicare un sostegno visibile. Coloro che lo attuano in modo coerente possono, dopo aver superato una valutazione, ottenere un marchio dal Gruppo di lavoro LGBTI della Svizzera. Il marchio viene assegnato alle aziende e alle organizzazioni che hanno radicato le dimensioni della diversit\u00e0 dell'orientamento sessuale, dell'identit\u00e0 di genere e delle caratteristiche di genere nella loro cultura organizzativa attraverso misure sistematiche in una \"gestione olistica della diversit\u00e0 e dell'inclusione e che vivono l'apertura e l'inclusione nella loro pratica quotidiana\".
