Su una scala da 1 a 5, analoga a quella di un hotel, i prodotti vengono controllati e valutati in base a diversi criteri di sostenibilit\u00e0. Grazie alla sua trasparenza, l'M-Check offre ai clienti Migros la possibilit\u00e0 di rendere i loro acquisti pi\u00f9 sostenibili. Oltre al rating per il benessere degli animali e la compatibilit\u00e0 climatica, viene ora lanciato l'M-Check per gli imballaggi.\r\n\r\nIl punteggio degli imballaggi ecologici nell'M-Check viene valutato sulla base dei fattori intensit\u00e0 dell'imballaggio (materiale e peso) e ciclo dell'imballaggio (percentuale di materiale riciclato e riciclaggio dopo l'uso). Per la nuova dimensione del packaging, Migros ha collaborato con Carbotech AG ed Empa (Laboratorio federale di prova dei materiali e di ricerca) per garantire un sistema di valutazione scientificamente valido.\r\n\r\nLa dimensione climatica \u00e8 frutto di una collaborazione con le societ\u00e0 di valutazione del ciclo di vita Treeze e Intep ed \u00e8 stata verificata anche dalla fondazione myclimate. Per quanto riguarda la dimensione del benessere animale, l'HAFL (Universit\u00e0 di Scienze Agrarie, Forestali e Alimentari) ha sviluppato un sistema di valutazione in modo da rendere disponibili opzioni di classificazione per tutti i sistemi di allevamento di diverse specie animali.\r\n\r\nD'ora in poi la dimensione dell'imballaggio verr\u00e0 aggiunta a un numero sempre maggiore di prodotti.
