Perch\u00e9 i risultati di uno studio condotto dall'Universit\u00e0 di Colonia e dall'Universit\u00e0 di Scienze Applicate del Vorarlberg suggeriscono che i giochi di realt\u00e0 virtuale possono essere un utile strumento complementare per la gestione delle risorse umane nelle aziende per prevedere le prestazioni lavorative di un candidato. Lo studio \"Intelligence at play: game-based assessment using a virtual-reality application\" di Markus Weinmann dell'Universit\u00e0 di Colonia e dei suoi colleghi ricercatori \u00e8 stato recentemente pubblicato sulla rivista Virtual Reality.<\/p>\n<h3>Giochi di realt\u00e0 virtuale come \"test di intelligenza<\/h3>\n<p>Diversi studi hanno gi\u00e0 dimostrato che i videogiochi possono fornire indizi sulle capacit\u00e0 intellettuali e cognitive o addirittura aiutare a svilupparle. Poich\u00e9 l'intelligenza \u00e8 uno dei predittori pi\u00f9 comunemente utilizzati per le prestazioni lavorative, i videogiochi potrebbero essere interessanti per la gestione delle risorse umane. Sebbene molte aziende utilizzino sempre pi\u00f9 spesso le tecnologie VR per reclutare candidati, pochi studi hanno esaminato specificamente se e come i giochi VR possano essere utilizzati per trarre conclusioni sull'intelligenza in questo campo. Lo studio di Markus Weinmann e colleghi contribuisce a colmare questo divario tra ricerca e pratica.<\/p>\n<h3>Giocare in condizioni di laboratorio<\/h3>\n<p>Weinmann e i suoi colleghi hanno invitato 103 partecipanti nel loro laboratorio. In condizioni controllate, hanno giocato al gioco VR commerciale \"Job Simulator\" e hanno completato la versione breve del test di intelligenza BIS-4. Le analisi dei ricercatori mostrano che i partecipanti che hanno completato il gioco pi\u00f9 velocemente degli altri avevano anche un'intelligenza generale e una capacit\u00e0 di elaborazione pi\u00f9 elevate. Un aumento della capacit\u00e0 di elaborazione di 17 % era correlato a un minor tempo di gioco (in media 3,7 minuti). I risultati suggeriscono che i giochi VR possono essere utili strumenti aggiuntivi nelle aziende per prevedere le prestazioni lavorative.<\/p>\n<h3>Novit\u00e0 scientifica<\/h3>\n<p>Secondo il rapporto dei due istituti di ricerca, i risultati rappresentano una novit\u00e0 scientifica, poich\u00e9 finora non \u00e8 stato quasi possibile condurre studi in VR con i moderni hardware VR. Pertanto, sono pochi gli studi che hanno indagato la connessione tra il comportamento in VR e l'intelligenza. \"Esistono gi\u00e0 alcune aziende che utilizzano i giochi, i cosiddetti 'serious games', per il reclutamento. I nuovi risultati si adattano a questa specifica applicazione dei giochi VR e dimostrano che possono essere utilizzati per il reclutamento\", ha detto Weinmann. Gli scienziati intendono continuare la loro ricerca sul potenziale dei videogiochi per le applicazioni pratiche.
