I rifiuti chimici industriali rappresentano una sfida globale. I metodi di smaltimento convenzionali, come l'incenerimento, comportano costi elevati ed emissioni di CO2. Inoltre, gli approcci biologici esistenti sono spesso limitati nella loro scalabilit\u00e0 ed efficienza, evidenziando l'urgente necessit\u00e0 di soluzioni migliori per la gestione dei rifiuti.<\/p>\n

Lo spin-off dell'ETH CellX Biosolutions combatte l'inquinamento chimico con potenti prodotti di degradazione batterica. Questi consentono la degradazione senza emissioni di CO2 degli inquinanti industriali. Utilizzando uno strumento microfluidico, CellX identifica batteri unici con elevate prestazioni di degradazione che possono abbattere sostanze chimiche dannose come PFAS e prodotti farmaceutici anche in ambienti remoti. Questo approccio sostenibile offre un'alternativa ecologica ai metodi di smaltimento convenzionali.<\/p>\n

CellX prevede di servire un mercato del valore di oltre 1 miliardo di dollari USA<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Si prevede che il mercato del trattamento dei rifiuti chimici pericolosi raggiunger\u00e0 i 48 miliardi di dollari entro il 2027, a causa delle normative ambientali pi\u00f9 severe e della crescente domanda di soluzioni sostenibili. CellX Biosolutions ha un grande potenziale in questo settore con i suoi prodotti per gli inquinanti ad alta priorit\u00e0.
