A seguito di un processo in pi\u00f9 fasi, il Consiglio dell'Universit\u00e0 di Scienze Applicate e Arti ha nominato Sarah Hauser come futura direttrice del Dipartimento di Informatica dell'Universit\u00e0 di Scienze Applicate e Arti di Lucerna (HSLU). Sarah Hauser combina una vasta esperienza di gestione nel settore dell'istruzione superiore con molti anni di attivit\u00e0 di insegnamento e ricerca in diverse universit\u00e0 di scienze applicate. In qualit\u00e0 di attuale vicedirettore e responsabile dell'istruzione presso il Dipartimento di Informatica della HSLU, Sarah Hauser conosce molto bene l'organizzazione e ha gi\u00e0 partecipato attivamente a importanti innovazioni e sviluppi negli ultimi anni. In qualit\u00e0 di vice di Ren\u00e9 H\u00fcsler, ha gi\u00e0 gestito il dipartimento ad interim in diverse occasioni ed \u00e8 stata membro del Comitato esecutivo. Assumer\u00e0 le redini il 1\u00b0 settembre 2025.<\/p>\n

La carriera professionale di Sarah Hauser \u00e8 iniziata nel 2001 presso l'ETH di Zurigo, dove ha conseguito il Master of Science in Computer Science, con specializzazione in Information Security e Software Engineering. Ha frequentato anche programmi di studio presso l'Universit\u00e0 delle Arti di Berlino - una stazione che \u00e8 stata formativa per il suo approccio multiprospettico e il suo grande interesse per le questioni interdisciplinari. Sarah Hauser ha acquisito esperienza pratica come informatica come sviluppatrice di software presso Skybow AG a K\u00fcsnacht e presso EB Zurich e come consulente IT presso ERNI Consulting AG a Zurigo.<\/p>\n

Hauser e H\u00fcsler: lancio di nuovi corsi di laurea in tandem<\/h3>\n

Sotto la guida di Ren\u00e9 H\u00fcsler, il Dipartimento di Informatica \u00e8 cresciuto notevolmente: il numero di studenti \u00e8 quasi triplicato dalla sua fondazione (da 521 a oltre 1300), i programmi di formazione continua sono passati da 42 a 90 e la quota di finanziamenti per la ricerca \u00e8 salita da 3,2 a 8,6 milioni di franchi. Oggi, 330 dipendenti lavorano per il Dipartimento di Informatica e circa 200 laureati si diplomano ogni anno.<\/p>\n

Ren\u00e9 H\u00fcsler e il suo team di gestione, che comprendeva anche Sarah Hauser, hanno sviluppato e istituito corsi di laurea innovativi come Digital Ideation, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Information & Cyber Security e Immersive Technologies. Alcuni di questi corsi di laurea sono unici in Svizzera e rispondono o addirittura anticipano le esigenze delle aziende. Con l'introduzione di diversi corsi di laurea in lingua inglese, la direzione del dipartimento ha tenuto conto di un mercato del lavoro internazionalizzato in un'industria in rete a livello globale. Un'altra pietra miliare \u00e8 stata la \"Blockchain Zug - Joint Research Initiative\", una cooperazione tra la HSLU e l'Universit\u00e0 di Lucerna, che il Cantone di Zugo sta finanziando con quasi 40 milioni di franchi svizzeri al fine di diventare un centro leader a livello mondiale per la ricerca sulla blockchain.<\/p>\n

Nuovo compito: competenze per la trasformazione digitale<\/h3>\n

Ren\u00e9 H\u00fcsler affronta una nuova sfida e apporta la sua esperienza alla HSLU come responsabile degli sviluppi e dei servizi digitali. \"Abbiamo riconosciuto che la trasformazione digitale \u00e8 un prerequisito fondamentale per il successo a medio e lungo termine della nostra universit\u00e0\", afferma la Presidente della HSLU Barbara Bader. In Ren\u00e9 H\u00fcsler \u00e8 stata trovata la persona perfetta. \"In qualit\u00e0 di direttore del Dipartimento di Informatica, negli ultimi anni ha avuto il polso della situazione e sa quali sviluppi tecnologici sono davvero rilevanti e come riconoscere tempestivamente il potenziale e farne un uso strategico intelligente.\"<\/p>\n
