(Immagine: Fotolia.com)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Con l'ingresso delle nuove generazioni nelle aziende, anche le aspettative dei dirigenti stanno cambiando. I Millennials, ad esempio, chiedono ai loro capi vicinanza, valori forti e pensiero visionario, e richiedono una guida e un incoraggiamento personali. Secondo lo studio, il divario tra le generazioni \u00e8 maggiore della differenza tra i sessi: \"Le donne e gli uomini della generazione pi\u00f9 giovane hanno quasi le stesse esigenze sulle qualit\u00e0 di leadership dei loro superiori e sulla diversit\u00e0 nelle loro aziende\", afferma Simone Stebler, consulente e responsabile della Diversity &amp; Inclusion Practice di Egon Zehnder.<\/p>\n<h2>I risultati pi\u00f9 importanti dello studio<\/h2>\n<p>Quasi due terzi dei Millennial che sono entrati nella forza lavoro all'inizio del millennio descrivono la diversit\u00e0 come la caratteristica pi\u00f9 importante della loro azienda. Tra i baby boomer che lasciano la forza lavoro, la percentuale \u00e8 solo del 51%.<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Un ambiente di lavoro diversificato \u00e8 di fondamentale importanza per le generazioni pi\u00f9 giovani: i Millennials (65%) e i membri della \"Gen X\" nati all'incirca tra il 1965 e il 1980 (61%) hanno citato la diversit\u00e0 come particolarmente importante. Tra i baby boomer, la percentuale era del 51%. Il 62% dei Millennial ha inoltre dichiarato che un ambiente di lavoro diversificato \u00e8 molto importante per il successo della propria organizzazione.<\/li>\n<li>Pi\u00f9 della met\u00e0 degli intervistati concorda con l'affermazione che nella propria azienda esistono le pari opportunit\u00e0. Tuttavia, solo il 57% delle donne Gen X era d'accordo, ma il 63% delle donne Millennials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Aspettative dei leader<\/h2>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Alla domanda su quale sia la caratteristica pi\u00f9 importante dei leader, i giovani sotto i 35 anni hanno nominato pi\u00f9 spesso l'\"avvicinabilit\u00e0\". Questa preferenza era ancora pi\u00f9 pronunciata tra i pi\u00f9 giovani: il 55% dei Millennials maschi era d'accordo con questa affermazione, ma solo il 32% dei Baby Boomers maschi.<\/li>\n<li>I baby boomer apprezzano la resilienza nei leader: il 35% la cita come una caratteristica importante, ma solo il 21% dei millennial.<\/li>\n<li>I Millennial sono anche pi\u00f9 propensi a concordare sul fatto che i loro leader incarnino le qualit\u00e0 che desiderano (38%). Al contrario, solo il 22% dei Baby Boomers e il 26% dei Gen Xers sono d'accordo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Sviluppo della carriera<\/h2>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>La stragrande maggioranza di tutti gli intervistati (86%) ha riferito di aver incontrato resistenza nel proprio percorso di carriera. Tuttavia, un terzo dei baby boomer ha dichiarato di non aver incontrato ostacoli nello sviluppo della propria carriera.<\/li>\n<li>Alla domanda sui fattori che limitano il loro sviluppo professionale, pi\u00f9 del doppio dei Millennials (35%) rispetto ai Baby Boomers (17%) ha citato la mancanza di mentori e sponsor.<\/li>\n<li>Le aspirazioni di carriera di donne e uomini sono quasi convergenti: il 27% delle donne e il 31% degli uomini ha dichiarato di voler raggiungere il livello di leadership strategica della propria organizzazione. Per le donne, tuttavia, il percorso verso i vertici \u00e8 incomparabilmente pi\u00f9 difficile: secondo l'Egon Zehnder Global Board Diversity Tracker del 2018, le donne rappresentano solo il 3,7% dei CEO e il 12,2% dei CFO in tutto il mondo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Motivazione<\/h2>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>I millennial (86%) sono pi\u00f9 propensi ad accettare che il loro equilibrio tra lavoro e vita privata sia corretto. Tra i Gen Xers la percentuale \u00e8 dell'80%, tra i Baby Boomers del 78%.<\/li>\n<li>Uomini e donne hanno dato risposte quasi identiche alla domanda sulle loro priorit\u00e0 personali e professionali.
